Normalized to 0dbfs with spot noise removal on birds during the drive-by in rx5, tail left unprocessed. No other processing of any kind. This sound effect acts as a demonstration of this stereo pair mic combination right out of the box.

A simple sine-generator piped through a slew of wacky effects automated with randomized lfos. I added some cabinet emulation to give it a 'living room' feel but left it dry enough to add additional stereo/reverb processing. P. S. It loops cleanly. Software: bitwig studio.

Noise left after dithering and phase canceling a tone. A tone was created with audacity's tone generator. Another version of the tone was made by downsampling and dithering the original tone in ableton live. I then phase cancelled the two sounds by switching the polarity of one of the tones and blending them back together in audacity. Because of the phase canceling, none of the original tone can be heard. Only the noise added during dithering remains.

A 1khz wave, often used as an effect for a flatline, test pattern, censorship, etc. This one more for effect (such as a movie) than a test tone. There's a nice stereo effect to make it more exciting, made by producing it as a sine wave for the left channel and a triangle for the right. The sine wave is at a slightly lower volume to make the 1khz fundamental the same volume level in both channels.

This is a simple loop of me playing some nice triplet delay textures on guitar. Here we hear a german public bus approaching a snow-covered stop from the right, stop, and continue shortly thereafter. The engine is a prominent part of the recording. Towards the end, a second public bus passes in front of the mic in the opposite direction before the first one continues to the left towards the next stop.

It plays a nice "left" and "right" to determine the channels. Then it plays back white noise first in both channels, then one at a time. Then the same with sine sweeps. Then short impulses.

This is a basic drum loop featuring a performance on the udu, a middle eastern hand drum. The stereo sample actually consists of the same rhythmic patttern performed on two individual drums of different pitches assigned to the left and right stereo channels. I needed the sound of a plastic recycle bin being rolled out to the curb. I set my zoom h1n on the sidewalk at the end of my driveway and - in two trips - rolled the cans out to the curb. You will hear me walking to the cans in the right channel, the garbage bin is rolled from the right channel to the center-left. Then repeat for the recycle bin.

A stereo wav recording from a zoom h1n during a thunderstorm today. One siren picks up followed by several more producing a convincing stereo image. I have done a basic bass roll-off, but have left it otherwise untouched. If you have a spectral editor you can probably clean out more of the noise, but i couldn't do so and keep the sirens sounding good.

A reel for the makenoise morphagene with each splice having two separate sounds with radical or subtle differences on the left and right channels. Great for stereo/split processing, a mix of tonal and atonal sounds made in ableton live with heavy use of madrona labs aalto and kaivo plugins. I believe i recorded these with a sound devices 702 and a neumann rsm 191 stereo shotgun. They are long car bys on a quiet road. Lots of distance to my left and right so you get some nice long singular car bys. Maybe one or two instances with a multi car pass. The roads were wet when this recording was done.
