This is the sound of an inland vessel on river rhine, near mannheim, germany. You can hear the rhythmic and fluctuating vibrations of the diesel engine. Seems to be an older one. Unfortunately i oriented my zoom h2n wrongly (90° to the right). So most of the noise appears on the left ear.

A small collection of gurgles from a small water dropper/pipette. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Recorded with zoom h2 on 2nd august 2009 in gauja, latvia. Electric train is passing by full speed. Railroad crossing is closed and a warning signal is emitted. On the left a bunch of kids are playing and on the right a bird sings. Train passes by and vehicle starts moving.

I washed up some glasses and found them making a loud dripping noise when left on to dry. The water was dripping off the glass onto the corrugated drying side and forming a little wall with each drip, each time there as a drip the wall broke transferred the vibration on to the resonating tumbler.

The sea was fairly choppy/rough and this is a recording of the waves crashing against a break water/wall with some occasional spraying sounds. Theres a great stereo effect of the waves hitting from left to right. Could be a good sound for any on boat/stormy sea needs.

I was messing around with my korg volca keys, and i liked this little section. The only problem is that i believe it only recorded into the left channel for some reason. I don't know why that happened, so unfortunately you will have to correct that, but it should be an easy fix in any sound editing program.

Water is being poured in and out of assorted ceramic and glass bowls, jugs or bottles. I left a bit of the container's own noise in, such as cork bottles plopping or the filled container being slid over a wooden table, for all your bartenders needs :p a lovely chuckling bottle is somewhere by the end.

This is a nylon coat with a wide-tooth zipper being zipped and unzipped at various speeds plus a couple of intermittent 'stuck zipper' sections. 10am sunday in the middle of the lockdown for corona virus, covid19. Recorder left in garden then edited down to remove most of dog barking at neighbours, the few cars that passed and distant conversation that might otherwise ruin the purpose of recording just the bird song. Not the best example of bird song for which i will have to get up at dawn.

Left the lid of my top loading freezer open, you can hear the hum of the motor and also the crackle of inside the freezer. Messing around with a low or high pass filter can give a nice background white noise. Free for commercial and non commercial use as apart of a creative piece of work. A short parade of ferraris on their way up lymington high street. The street is lined with people chatting and cheering at the cars, which beep their horns and rev their engines. Zoom h1 with roland cs-em10 in ear mics. Seems a bit heavy on the low frequencies, but i've left it as-is.
