I needed the sound of snakes hissing angry on the head of a "medusa" in a helloween-radioplay - so here they are :) recorded with beringer b10, esi maya and adobe audition, done some processing (eq, light chorus) - the sound is loopable!.

Heavy rain hitting a slightly open window. Loopable. :d. This sound was accidentally recorded when sampling a storm. The window was slightly open, so the outside rain is slightly audible. Recorded with the zoom h2's built in mic's.

This is a recording of my air dehumidifier that has a strange sound to it, so i decided to process it, and now it sounds like a computer lab^^ have fun with using it! after some editing it turns out to be loopable (this is the full recording).

I think this sounds a bit like a jazz age theme reflecting a journey by steam ship. It was bolted together from little loopable sections (also uploaded separately here) which were all created using edirol orchestral samples and the magic of arpeggiating programs. Recorded around midnight in mount saint francis woods in southern indiana on the kentucky border on a dr70r with shotgun mic. Not loopable as the wind picks up over time and is noticeable when you loop back to beginning. Light editing in reaper (eq down some wind sounds, splicing out distant traffic). Great single-speed diesel engine sound, loopable for any length background you need. This one happens to be at about 1200 rpm for a four-cylinder ford tractor engine. That said, i am living dangerously today because it's a field recording and i'm not saying where it was. Not because i can't, but because i frequently use the wrong door when entering or leaving the supermarket and i usually completely ignore the painted traffic directives in the parking lot. I'm proud of that.

I got a weird story for this one! i took a machine sound from my grandpa's workshop, overloaded it with flanger so it didn't even sound like a machine anymore, got a little snippet of the sound, pitch shifted it up, and repeated it, eqed it, and added some reverb. (the machine didn't have anything do do with it btw. You can do this with any sound. ) hope you guys enjoy this sound. Feel free to use this anywhere you want. :).
