Just a few hand claps i layered, compressed, and added a touch of reverb. I use this sample in my own songs all the time. Just a nice layer to put under the backbeat, not a crazy, huge clap to use on its own. I'd love if you'd credit joshua scott or rjc studios if you use this sample, but don't sweat it if you don't. Recorded with a sennheiser mke-600 microphone as room tone for a short film in blue ridge, ga around 1:00am. Lovely cricket and cicada noises, and it had just rained so you can hear some raindrops as well. I've been using freesound for 5 years and this is my first upload. . . Please enjoy!.

This is actually an odd sound my thermos makes when i don't close the lid properly. I guess it could be used for all sorts of abstract things, like ants talking to each other, alien sounds, organic things in general. It's just air going through a thin space. Feel free to use, no need to attribute, but i'd love to know where it went.

Some goa synth i created in fl studio a while ago using the pro 53 vst synth. Basically a saw wave form with glide or portamento, this nice lfo lpf in fl studio called fruity love synth, slight hpf, slight distorition (blood overdrive), a little compression, a little pannomatic, the right amount of delay and reverb. Presto!.

Last night i finished these but actually i did them months and months ago. . . Pills. . . . Ahh those damn little tablet that we think make everything o. K. But really painkillers only temporarily seperate that part of our body that feels from our nervous system. . . Is that really what you want to think ? ahh. . . . . Puppy love. . . . . This is a simple loop of me playing some nice triplet delay textures on guitar. This is a stereo file with 2 guitars panned on the right and left, playing the same pattern in different octaves, offering a nice atmosphere. This was recorded with a hagstrom f200p (awesome p90 style pickups) on a voxac15, using a boss dd7 for the delay and a beheringer reverb unit (yeah, i love the lo-fi sound of that cheap box!).

Sports bras are supposed to fit snugly, but not quite this snugly. Some makers are too cheap to use a good zipper, and this one is nylon. I think. If you don't want a wardrobe malfunction, don't buy too small, and avoid those that don't have a backup hook underneath. This one doesn't, nor can the zipper be trusted. And yeah it can certainly malfunction, if you run. Suits me. Love to run.

Playing tabletennis on a nice sunny day at a playground in leipzig. The table is pretty old and made out of metal and concrete. The net is out of metal. Sometimes the ball hits it with a "pong". Recorded with a zoom h2 in 360-mode. Edited the mics pointing to the table a liitle louder and used very little noise reduction to reduce the wind noises a bit. Kids roaming around and the balls are flying! *sigh* i love those days.

Ripped from vinyl record and transformed into a completly new sound just to create ambient sounding effects, maybe for a background noise, or whatever the heck ya like!!. This sample was created using over 15 effects and eq's.

Striking a wooden barrel with a thick wooden drum stick i have for large percussion. Minimal eq to remove useless frequencies below 80 hz, no boosting more than 2db, so very non destructive. No compression added. No permissions needed but i'd love to hear what you used it in!.

Kick sound created in fl studio using a reggae kick sound played both dry and using a denise punisher free distortion vst and then layered with a pure click from fl studio. The resulting kick to me sounds somewhere between techno and dubstep light. Would love to hear about anything you create with it but as always free to use whether you inform me or not. Revolt!.

15 year old dog struggling to breathe. Dog walks through the house making loud gasping and ear-splitting clacking sounds (claws on fake wood flooring) in a house with excruciating acoustics. The bell-like sound is her clumsily banging into a water dish. I love this dog but i've been listening to this every day for 1. 5 years. It's nerve wracking and incredibly annoying to listen to, imo.

This is one of my favorite sounds to open my live sets with and is featured in my track water's bomb, as well as in the intro to the digital juggernauts album, "giant killer robots. " to make it, you use a sample of a plane flying over, i used a 707, and a djm-500's pitch shifter fx. As the sample gets longer, turn the pitch to the high end, then to the low end. Recorded this in my backyard at midnight, my neighbors probably hate me now. Recorded on a tascam dr-70d with a rode ntg-3. File is stereo but contains two of the same mono track for ease of use.
