This is a sound of a pepsi bottle being opened. I guess the strange skin-twisting sounds was the skin on the hands that where holding the bottle and the bottle-cap while twisting. This made for an amazing futuristic machinery sound.

I'm making a spooky scary video game and needed a "behind you" whisper to play over the shoulder of the player. Didn't find anything so i made it myself by recording several whispers of "behind you" and then applying effects in audacity. Hope this helps someone. Go ahead and use this for whatever. Intended for game creation: sounds of bigger and smaller spaceships and other noises very common in airless space. How i made them:. Rubbing different things on different surfaces in front of 2 x akg c1000s, then processing them with the free kjearhus plugins and some guitaramp simulators.

Stretched sound, good for video games. I made the original sample in fruity loops using the reverse effect on a basic software sample sound. After that i used paul stretcher effect in audacity to stretch everything up and give it a longer feel. Also added little bit of dellay and reverb after stretching it.

Some experimental beat that i made today. Kick drum panning with a lpf lfo on it. Some percussion loop also with a similar effect done in ableton live as opposed to fl studio. Then some hi fi hats done in fl studio. Please enjoy and use and let me know what you use it in.

A quick piece i made using various effects, to give the impression of a factory accident in which a fire/explosion occurs, and steam vents and opened etc. Attribution information:. This sample is part of the icefield-library. I used a pair of soundman okm2 mics as contact microphones which i fixed to the surface of a frozen lake, then recorded the sounds made by throwing or skimming several stones and pebbles across the ice. Wonderful effects can also be achieved by filtering or timestretching the files.

An odd sound: i set pocket recorder out hoping to capture some birdsong; a raven swooped down and made a couple of passes above it. Perhaps he was attracted by the colorful fuzzy windscreen? at any rate: recorded on an olympus ls-14, some wind in the trees in the background.
