Nearly 15 min of children playing and screaming in a school yard in central copenhagen(denmark). Not any obvious language though. Has a natural ending when the kids go back to class. Zoom h1 and mastered with supreme analog gear.
I created and mastered a basic reggaeton groove: only kick, deep kick and tom-snare. A base over wich you can add cymbals, percussions or whatever you wish!exactly -3 db volume.
Long techno loop in 131 bpm meant as background music for video. Made with drum machine, analog modular synth and a hardware sound module. Mastered in audacity.
Edited a default preset in bk-synthlab's free "vs-1 oscilloscope" synth and hooked it up with a free midi sequencer vst (hyperion) and placed thrillseekervbl on the master. This was done using headphones back then so the sound may not be optimal on some playback devices.
Sampled from custom-made 13. 5 inch hihat cymbals created by master cymbal smith mike skiba. The top cymbal weighs in at 1145 grams with the bottom weighing 1215 grams. This is a stick tap on the bow of the closed cymbals using the tip of the stick.
Sampled from a 20 inch k. Zildjian istanbul ride from the 1950s, and subsequently modified by master cymbal smith mike skiba for a final weight of 2220 grams. Recorded with stereo pm mics. This is a hard stick tip hit on the bell or cup of the cymbal.
A simple bass lick recording which i used on the demo of my master thesis. Yamaha trb5pii (maple top), slightly balanced favouring pickup bridge, fingerstyle, fingers placed over pickup bridge, all other controls centered. Straight into focusrite scarlett 2i2 into audacity.
