I created this instrumental while i was messing around on audacity one day and i actually used it to record a song called "erbie bowser" feel free to look it up on youtube. The instrumental includes whistles, claps and a voice loop all performed by myself. The only un-authentic part added was a risset drum. Feel free to use this for whatever i request that you give me credit if you chose to do so.

Left the lid of my top loading freezer open, you can hear the hum of the motor and also the crackle of inside the freezer. Messing around with a low or high pass filter can give a nice background white noise. Free for commercial and non commercial use as apart of a creative piece of work. Recorded with the zoom f4 and rode m5s.

Was testing my rene sequencer with elements, processed through. . . . . . Of course the o. G clouds indeed ;). The clock for rene was ironically taken from the particles of braids( literally from the output of braids xd) and also the wogglebug( at ultra slow internal clock rate). I was just messing around rene as it just arrived soo,that's taht i guess lol.

An experimental sound i did while messing with audacity. Just like i did in that end sound, i just used my table to do the sound, but instead of pounding, i tapped it (man, my table is kinda useful for sfx. Xd). And after that, i added the vocoder, some reverb, and the echo effect then viola! this effect was born!.

Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.

I've actually been frustrated with the lack of earthquake-type sounds, sooo i attempted my own. Not very good. It consisted of different items making different sounds, then slowed down, pitch change, some reverse, some echo, blah blah blah. It's a mess, but that's what rumbling is supposed to be, right? also, depending on your speakers, this may be very loud. . _.

The apple plaintalk microphone jack used on some older macintosh systems is designed to accept an extended 3. 5 mm three-conductor phone connector; in this case, the tip carries power for a preamplifier inside the microphone. The sound a rather fast repeating beat i made using an apple plaintalk microphone in a rather modern windows laptop using audacity. I messed around with the jack, and took out all the silent parts.

This is a very old, out of tune accordian (the tuning wavers way off key on the main notes as it plays). It might be useful for messing around with to create undertones for a horror or mystery with a rise-fall pattern. I recorded it on an se x1 large condenser mic. Completely free to use for anything. I just uploaded crap i know. . . But i was just messing with audacity and it crashed, i retrieved the temp file and this came up. Not really useful for anything, but just thinking of the people's faces when searching for something and running into this. . . Another "shoegazey" clip using guitar though many pedals (boss xtortion > danelectro eq > boss me-30 (no effects on, but working as a slight boost) > eh small stone > korg ax3g (on a pitch/harmonizer setting) > boss dd-20 > behringer ultra vibrato > alesis nanoverb > mixer > soundcard. ) it's kind of similar to the beginning of "souvlaki space station", but it is in no way an approximate recreation (or even the same notes, i'm sure) of it. I messed around with levels and soundcard settings and was able to get a much cleaner, less distorted recording (compared to the guitar drone sample uploaded previously. ).

I was messing around to create a lead synth for a song for my band, but nothing came out for the song. At leased i ended up with something that could sound great for a purely electronic style. While fooling around with the beat repeat plugin in ableton one day, i noticed it would do this cool rhythmic decrescendo whenever i would hit "repeat". But not when i would export! so i just kept messing around with a simple hi-hat loop with audacity running in the background. I've cut down and sampled this recording many times, think it's time i let it go to see what the internet can do with it ;).

I was just messing around with audacity again, this time slowing down my recording like a tape record, which not only stretched the time, but also turned down the frequency range which resulted in pitch shift. I stumbled around a sound that sounded like a huge horn exhaust - like those war pipes from celtics. So i experimented a little bit and made this one. Original recording was mono (but recorded to stereo track), however i added a reverb effect which created a nice stereo reverb effect. Feel free to use in games :).

I found two melodies in gis_sweden's excellent "you deserve it - friday randomness ii"http://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/362508/. And quantized them into a 92 bpm 4/4 thing. Each melody is presented panned, with and without a beat, then simultaneously. It's sort of an accidental counterpoint. I also messed up his nice analog sound into some harsh digital junk. There's a lot of high frequency energy here so watch it, and apologies to mr. Fletcher, mr. Munson and their daughter, curve.

I was just messing around in audacity, like i usually do all the time. I made a corrupt audio file, and i found this extremely weird sound. I got rid of all the white noise, which made it sound even weirder, then i slowed it down and got this sound. You can use this however you want. I'm not sure what it's even meant for, like something being activated, robot beeping, etc. Enjoy. :).
