Opening and closing an old metal hatch in our basement. The hatch is locked by two handles. The first two creaks are the handles being turned, the last creak is the hatch itself. At around 0:10, the hatch is closed again and the two handles are turned to closed position. Recorded using a no-name directional microphone. Feel free to use however you please, credits appreciated but not required. If you'd like to tell me what you used it for, go ahead, i'd love to hear it.

I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

I needed a sound effect for an audio project, specifically the sound of someone moving around in a bathtub full of water and ice. Being too lazy to go out and get a carpload of ice cubes, i raided the ice-maker in the refrigerator and built up a stockpile, then dumped them all into the metal kitchen sink, added some water and a few empty ice cube trays for flavor, and stirred them about using a glass mixing bowl and a wooden spoon.

X-act heavy metal drum kit==========================drum kit: tama rockstarsnare: mapex maplecymbals: zildjianall were recorded in studio with a sennheiser e835 microphone plugged into a roland juno-g synthesizer. Cymbals need some 15khz eq increase because of the dynamic microphone's treble roll-off. No copyrights, free for all uses. I recommend using native instruments battery to launch the samples. Each of the battery's cells can accept stacked multi-samples, and the kit can be played through an electronic drum kit through midi. Excellent results. Any comments, contact matias: matias. Warning: super loud. Okay, so i was using baking soda on my face to clear out blackheads, but i had a few scabs from my dermatillomania, and i was making a video where i mentioned it, and shouted this. It's really gritting your teeth and embracing the pain. It's so metal. Xd.

Recording of myself playing a home-made instrument constructed from a large suspended metal door affixed with bits of thin aluminum sheeting of varying sizes and bent at varying angles. I "played" this by striking and plucking the bits of aluminum and recording the results through a piezo contact mic adhered to the door.
