This clip was recorded on the traffic island in front of the square, facing the column with the national gallery behind it, street traffic can be heard in the foreground with the tourists on the square further in the background. A recording made near monument creek. I needed to block wind noise and so there are strange fluctuations with the eq, although maybe this is a feature and not a bug for someone out there. I walked away from the rapids until i was about twenty feet away. At one point, a helicopter passed over, and you may hear a motorcycle ride by.
