This is a mix of many different sounds. A dog keeps on barking, birds sing. There's a plane that passes by. At one moment a truck also passes by. There's even squirrels and at the end a faint murmur of people talking as they walk on the sidewalk. Recorded with a zoom h4n.

Recorded on a h4n with a "deadcat" wind-sock, this short clip was recorded during the june 2016 rainstorm behind our house in redland bay in se qld. There is a very slight murmur of traffic that was hard to avoid, otherwise just the rushing of leaves in the gum-trees.

A wonderful slice of small town life. Recorded august 27 2022 at a small town baseball game in southern illinois. Not a huge crowd, but you hear the murmur of parents, kids and of course the crack of the steel bat against the baseball. Especially good with headphones on, as i recorded this in stereo. Equipment: zoom f3. Microphones: em clippy 272 omni-directional microphones on microphone stands located 38 inches apart. Enjoy this timeless summer soundscape representing all that is good. Recorded using tascam dr-40 and pair of behringer c2 mics c. 10am, sunday march 19, 2017. Location: robin hood way (byway), manor hills - c. 2km south of urban edge worksop, nottinghamshire. Mixed scots pine & larch plantation with beech trees adjacent to trackway. Dry with light breeze. The murmur of the wind in the pines runs through out this recording - ebbing and flowing with the breeze. There is much woodland birdsong. Some other noises of human making can also be hear and interrupt the otherwise peaceful rural ambience. Distant jet aeroplane 0:13truck on nearby road (b6034) 2:43drone of propeller aircraft can also be hear in much of recording - prominent at 2:57, 3:23muffled gunshots 3:04, 3:34, 7:01,7:56clearer gunshot 4:50distant motorbike 8:26 to end.
