Over 5 minutes of background noise from a well-known new york city diner, including people talking, clanging plates and glasses and forks and knives and cups being cleared away by staff, and in the second half of the clip, radio ads playing faintly in the background. But crucially, no music is playing. This means you can either use this clean, or layer in your own rights-cleared music if you're using this in a film or whatever. Recorded in january 2019 with an iphone x — don't let the recording device scare you, it sounds pretty good and certainly fine for this kind of background noise. I was gifted a wonderful new phone with a 128 megapixel camera, and an elevated frame rate for video. I use it. The awesomeness of the internet does the rest. I'm innocent, of course.

Recorded with sennheiser me67 to zoom h4n as a mono track at 24bit/48k. Mic inside wrapped up news paper tapped with a pencil. I read about it and found when layered with punches and other hits, it gives the hit a nice little kick in the sub-woofer.

The beat was made using the real drum sounds in fruity loops for a friend who wanted to jam some new guitar riffs for his band. The tempo was originally 60 bpm but sounds better at 90bpm. It comprises of 2 bars of drums with hats and 2 with a ride.
