One of a series of sounds i made using a small squeeze toy that just happens to be shaped like a cob of corn. I felt like the expulsion of air made a nice swishy ui sound. Recorded with a rode nt1 into a universal audio arrow.

This is an old commercial refrigerator from the grocery store. It was making a very nice regular droning sound so i placed my phone inside the fridge to get a clean recording without the noise from the store. Perfect for a spaceship drone or background noise at a factory.

Nice trick working with doepfer a-101-1 vactrol vcf. Noise to lp in. Gate to cvf in 1 out straight to mixer. Low frequency. High emph. Lp 0, bp about 5 and hp 0. Added a bass and my sampled voice. . .

This is a file prepared for being used with makenoise's morphagene eurorack module. It is a pierre schaeffer interview cut with markers in files directly. It is a nice mise en abîme if you use it for musique concrète works as it is an interview about musique concrète.

A kick i created somewhere between 2012-2014. It belongs to a pack "harha's hardstyle kicks" and i don't have the interest to describe every kick in this pack separately. For pitching the bass part / tail up and down, i suggest using cool edit pro or adobe audition. Cubase pitching/timestretch algorithms are quite nice as well.

Distant sound of a marching band as they move down corso umberto in taormina. I was climbing down the path above the town in the early evening and the sound carried up out of the narrow streets nicely. Some handling sounds at the beginning. Free to use in anything. This is a bass kick i made with a nice crunchy toned delay. It started life as a mono bass kick off my 808 drum machine, i converted it to stereo then inverted the right channel, i distorted it and processed it with 100% envelope to really boost the front end punch. It's c2 pitch for convenience.

Some loops i made in reaktor. They're made using a little wavetable-based synth which i built from scratch; the wavetable contains 32 home-grown waveforms, and the synth's parameters and effects are controlled by a bank of 16 sequencers. Good for glitch/minimal techno, and there are some nice individual bleeps/percussive sounds in there too. Enjoy!.

I recorded stop and go traffic on coldwater canyon one morning on my way to work. Nice variation of traffic that's moving and traffic that's just stopped and idling. Could be used for freeway traffic jams, etc. Recorded with: sound devices 702t, beyer dynamic mc930 mics.

A kick drum produced for moody trance project. Production process: sound generated from kick synth; signal splitted in two bands; high band signal filtered, distorted and panned (this gives nice roughness and makes kick sound pretty good with center panned bassline); low band signal equalized with some re-verb; both bands mixed back together.

I saw this huge storm brewing, so i put my laptop next to an open window, thinking that i might record a nice atmospheric recording of rain and light thunder, and i caught this thing, no more than 500m away. I had the sensitivity turned all the way up, and the microphone i am using isn't the best, but someone might get a use of it :).

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

This is a nice little study written by guillermo gomez and is from frederick noad's book 'the idiot's guide to the guitar. ' it's a great book and don't let the title fool you. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony sound forge. Sorry it's not the best recording (too much hiss and bass) and i may do it over. Please comment on what you will use it for. Left the lid of my top loading freezer open, you can hear the hum of the motor and also the crackle of inside the freezer. Messing around with a low or high pass filter can give a nice background white noise. Free for commercial and non commercial use as apart of a creative piece of work. Recorded with the zoom f4 and rode m5s.

During a recent wandering in one of the many woods around me i found this wonderful small creek which, even though small, had a nice flow to it thanks to some recent rain. As i sat down to record the soothing sound of the riffles, a group of chickadees decided to come check me out. Enjoy.

Several very satisfying pops of large plastic bubble packing. Not bubble wrap, these ones are much large, about 20x as big. They are more like small balloons. Some nice crackling plastic rustling sounds in there too, why not. The first one is a bit hot, but i turned down the mic for the other ones.

Recording from top floor clarion hotel oslo. Recording is on the terras of the suite and the icrophones is pointing towards the sentral station. I have been useing sennheiser mkh 30 and mkh 50. To this recording there is a similar recording in with jecklin, useing bothe will creating a nice atmospher for surround ms in front and jecklin in rear.

Recorded with canon hv10 camcorder. No soundeffects added. Nice echo in the open fortress yard. First some speech, then single drummer and single trumpet.

Yep, i'm reading allen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 5. 20 modules involved. The ending is just modular freak-out. . . Whit the turn of one pot. . . Leading to some nice sound fx.

This is a field recording, done using a zoom h6 with attached stereo mic. The limiter (general type) was activated on the channel. This is the raw recording without any eq or dynamics added. A quick normalization gave a nice, rich signal that you might be able to use for any purpose. Apply a low pass filter to cut out the rain. Well, enjoy. :). More of this will be uploaded.

Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.
