Recording from top floor clarion hotel oslo. Recording is in the corridor of the hotel and i have been useing sennheiser mkh 30 and mkh 50. To this recording there is a similar recording in with jecklin, useing bothe will creating a nice atmospher for surround ms in front and jecklin in rear.

#csd [collabo sound design]. Cuffh4tz (#csd 001). Smashing one part of the cuffz on the other one which lies on a wooden table. The wooden table was chosen to damp the signal and gives it a more solid sound. The chain between the cuffz adds a nice character to the sound. This library consists of 39 samples.

Recorded 17. Nth of june 2007 at oscarsborg fortress in norway. Memorial of oberst birger eriksen who was in charge of the resistance at oscarsborg against the german invasion 9. Nth april 1939. Recorded with canon hv10 camcorder. No soundeffects added. Nice echo in the open fortress yard. First some speech, then single drummer and single trumpet.

Wooden, headless tambourine recorded using a zoom h5 and a rode nt-5 in a bathroom. Edited in ocenaudio, also some de-reverberation. No equalization applied. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-).

Some loops i made in reaktor. They're made using a little wavetable-based synth which i built from scratch; the wavetable contains 32 home-grown waveforms, and the synth's parameters and effects are controlled by a bank of 16 sequencers. Good for glitch/minimal techno, and there are some nice individual bleeps/percussive sounds in there too. Enjoy!.

During a recent wandering in one of the many woods around me i found this wonderful small creek which, even though small, had a nice flow to it thanks to some recent rain. As i sat down to record the soothing sound of the riffles, a group of chickadees decided to come check me out. Enjoy.

This is a bass kick i made with a nice crunchy toned delay. It started life as a mono bass kick off my 808 drum machine, i converted it to stereo then inverted the right channel, i distorted it and processed it with 100% envelope to really boost the front end punch. It's c2 pitch for convenience.

I recorded a thunderstorm with my samsung galaxy m20 out of my bathroom for 10 minutes. There is a corrugated plastic roof, which gives the rain a nice, but also a tinny sound. That's why highlighted the bass sounds and reduced the high noises for a better experiance. I also looped it, so it is 30 minutes long with fade-in and fade-out. Enjoy!.

You can hear crickets, chocoyos (pacific parakeet), mosquitos, and other birds. This sound was recorded on an october morning in the chocoyero - el brujo natural reserve, in nicaragua, central america, with a zoom h5. It's a nice sound from a place i love. It was raining outside and i have a window on my roof that makes a lot of noise whenever it rains (obviously) so thought it would be a good sound to record. Feel free to use however you see fit, you don't even have to credit me but it would be nice if you did!.

First spring time thunderstorms hit the metro detroit today. This is a short sample of my original 2 hour recording that i thought was particularly nice. You'll hear several little thunder rumbles and rain in an city night atmosphere. Feel free to use.

Accompanying synth sounds created in pure data and used in another piece but on soloing and playback i decided this was nice standalone and might be suitable for remixing so i put on freesound, partly as though i've uploaded a couple of pieces i've downloaded more than contributed so i wanted to with this piece or snippet of pieces.

Sounds of the smoky mountain railway in bryson city, north carolina. Includes many sounds of starting with some diesel locomotives, depot ambient noise with passengers, and goes into the steam locomotive preparing to leave the station then goes into sounds of the locomotive as recorded from between the cars with a very nice steam locomotive whistle blowing frequently.

It's an all synthetized sound created on audacity. I wanted to recreat the sound of an ovni, but not one that makes people scared : like there is only one alien in this ovni but it seems pretty nice. I started by created a new audiotrack, then i generated chirps and keeping the default values. Then i duplicated the track and made a stereo track of both. I add wahwah effect on the track, changing and modulate the different default values (for example, highest dept and a lot of resonance). After, i add phaser affect on the whole track to make the sound a little bit more spacial. Then i normalized the track. Last, i raised the speed twice by 2. The chain: technics hifi-system, multi-cone speakers, audix reference microphone, focusrite preamps. To use it like intended, just load this file into a convolution plugin in your master insert. You'll hear your mix like sitting. . . Well. . . In my living room. It'll sound muffled to you, that's because i captured the ir and all the reflections with an omni-directional mic and i have thick curtains ;-dof course it can be used as a really, really nice and natural-sounding ambience ir, too. Use it as an aux-reverb).

Heavily pounding bassdrum originally made from 10 litre bottle punching sounds recorded with my fake shure c608 mic and heavily processed by adding some modulations, distortions, layering some attack and setting bass part (under 200 hz) to mono. Will be nice choice to produce hip-hop drums, or experimental techno also for making cinematic thunder-like booms.

This is a file prepared for being used with makenoise's morphagene eurorack module. It is a pierre schaeffer interview cut with markers in files directly. It is a nice mise en abîme if you use it for musique concrète works as it is an interview about musique concrète.

Sound through a vent while contractors did demolition on the bathroom upstairs. Has a nice "eavesdropping" quality, a vibe like you're hearing the work from another area. Sunday walk on german coastal city travemünde's cliffs. We gently push a bike and ring its bell twice @1. 26 before sitting on a bench to look at the sea. Other strollers pass by while indistinctly speaking in german. Nice panoramic. Recorded with sony pcm-d50.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

My recording "fizzy water" is much better than this version. Please use it, not this one. I made a video recording of a glass of carbonated water in a tall glass, using an ipad. Then i played it back and recorded it using a zoom h2 stereo recorder. So it got processed through the different media. It produces a nice fizzy sound that some people will find useful.

Ambient sound inside a train carriage waiting to leave richmond, london to go to stratford london. You can hear sound of other tube/train arriving on next platform, sound of two train drivers talking in driver's cab and low level sound of other passengers. There is also a nice ambient hum of inside of carriage.

Decided to call this sound "electronic modular rhythm" since i found only one other spot on the net with that combination of words. Probably is there some sort of mistake to write like that, but now we are two to make that mistake. This is straight out of the modular. No processing but amplification. Please find a part that loops nice in your ears.

Some goa synth i created in fl studio a while ago using the pro 53 vst synth. Basically a saw wave form with glide or portamento, this nice lfo lpf in fl studio called fruity love synth, slight hpf, slight distorition (blood overdrive), a little compression, a little pannomatic, the right amount of delay and reverb. Presto!.
