The mechanical noise and signature "chord" associated with the "mac mini (2010 model)" upon startup/boot. Brief mechanical motor and clicking noises followed by the famed sustained f sharp major chord (detuned 30 cents flat) being projected over low quality, built-in speakers. Me walking from the trail into the fiesch ski resort in the swiss alps. Starts calm with footsteps on snow and then when i walk into the the ski resort you hear voices in multiple languages, ski and snowboard noises and mechanical noises from the ski lifts.

Gorgeous sound of two vintage british diesel locos pulling a 13 carriage train. Recorded using the built in mics on a cannon powershot g15 then processed to try and remove as much wind noise using izotope ozone in m/s mode, (much of the wind noise was in the side channel).

Suburban ambient noise i recorded from my bedroom window. There's a lot of unique sounds, like birds chirping, dogs barking, children and adults talking in the distance, a car honking. The average residential morning noises. Recorded using an audio-technica atr2500-usb microphone.

I created this using digital synthesizers. I lost the presets to this so i can't say exactly how it was created, but eventually i'll create a new version and describe the process. It's basically multiple layers of very grainy (like sparklers or vinyl) noise processed through filters modulated by some kind of noise.

This is the sound of someone shaking a kinder surprise egg trying to guess what's inside (like in the tv advert). This is a simple sound that i recorded with a zoom h2n handy recorder. I just cut the extra recording parts, and added a noise reduction effect to clean it in audacity.

Field recording made in boston's city hall plaza, summer 2005. Lots of miscellaneous crowd noise can be heard: footsteps, random chatter, and so on. There is also some construction being done nearby, so the noise of construction machinery backing up is also prominent at certain parts.

A wonderful orgasm with a nice long build-up and great release, then some contented moans to finish. Recorded with an iphone and edited in reaper to remove noise. The dominant hissing background noise was successfully removed, replaced with a sparkly mist of glitchness, which i feel creates a sci-fi fantasy setting.

Wind noise occasionally, but no overs. This would be a good file to experiment with highpass filtering to remove wind noise.
