On my way to work i typically record lectures on my mobile phone. This recording is one of those lectures. It has been processed using waves plugins via the reaper audio daw.

Just an edm riser effect i made in lmms. It might have been for one of my songs, i'm not sure.

The sloth has two outputs x and y. I connected x to control frequency on one oscillator and y to control amplitude on another oscillator. Frequency experiment on left channel. Amplitude experiment on the right. The file starts as the amplitude is 0. Next time the amplitude is 0 (almost) is at about 48 sec. Then 48 sec later, at 1:37 the amplitude is 0 again. The two cycles are not identical. The tones are harder to analyze. . . X and y outputs. I guess those corresponds to x and y in a coordinate system. September 19, 2020 shenzhen, china tested the air raid system. Sorry for the background noise. I was standing on a city street on a rainy day and the cars made a lot of noise driving through the wet streets. I'm not sure if they do this test every year but i do remember they did it last year. I'm also not sure if this is province wide (guangdong) or maybe even country wide. The government let us know about a week earlier that they would do the test. If they let me know one day or even better one hour before the test, i may have been able to get to a quieter area for a better recording. There were some tests earlier with longer tones but my recording had even more background noise and this was the best one.

Recording of the tires of a flat bed trailer going over a gravel path. This was from a hayride where i was sitting in the back with a bunch of kids being pulled by the tractor. Recorder was just a couple of feet from the wheel so most of the kids noises and even the tractor engine get drowned out, but still somewhat audible in spots. There are two recordings, one taken from the side with the mic at the wheel and one with the mic under the trailer while recording. (this is the one with the recorder off to the side. ). The sound could also (maybe) be used to mimic a hailstorm. Recorded with a sony icd-px312.

About a dozen or so pieces of music from an antique orchestrion which features a player piano, pipe organ, drums, violin, marimba and other instruments. A very lively selection of music.

Made in ableton live. Layered together out of various explosions sounds and a kick drum. One sound layer ran through a guitar amp for distortion. Low-fi-ish.

On the saxophone, using a specific set of fingerings one can "play" two notes at once. This creates a clashing, almost chewbacca-like sound that can be utilized in some specific settings to create a certain effect.

This is a rather simple one, compared with 002, the sounds are more subtle and less punchy. The bass drum is much significant compared to 001.
