Our dog was ill and we kept her inside for a while. She much didn't like to be in her dedicated room and often escaped this. Recorded with olympus ls-100 internal microphones.

My cat, maya, was sitting in my lap, so i brought my microphone down and hit record. She was curious about the big thing in her face and sniffed at it, resulting in this sound file.

Another recording of my cat trying to get my attention. I couldn't get rid of all the room ambience, but i got the mic as close as i could without max eating it. Lol. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.

This recording was made inside my apartment where i hear various noises of my pets such as: my little dog playing and barking, a pair of gray parrots and a pair of diamond doves. The recording was made in italy in the province of rieti with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

I stopped the recording of the video and started capturing only the audio of the dog with the zoom h1 microphone because the barking could be used as sound effect.

Purring of cat: this sound is extremely distinct. It is an up-close recording of the vibrations emitted by a cat when they are happy. It is an accurate representation because an actual cat was used to record this sound. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a great sound if you are looking for an extreme specific purr unaccompanied by other noises.

Dragging a pet bottle.

One of our doggies sleeps in the recliner and sometimes trees a cat, or something, in his sleep. It's rare to hear him bark at all, which made this kind of funny. An unmodified file.

Willy is a smallish tomcat who will never be completely healthy. Rescued as a kitten with a respiratory infection, nothing has ever made him all-better. But he is super-lovable. His purrs are tiny like the rest of him. Greatly amplified.

Here is a short recording of one of my male cats (a big good boy who resembles a chartreux) licking his tummy: to be honest, one of the most annoying sounds ever (especially if you are trying to concentrate and study).
