I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect. I recently found this awesome sounding metal cover in my workshop and decided to do some high quality recordings with it. I used akg c414, a neve portic 5012 preamp my rme bayface and some slight postproduction (compression and slight eq). The sound is open source and can be downloaded in 24bit wave here.
This is a compilation i realized with many little sounds i recorded with my zoom h4n. I tried to glue the sounds in order to create the more suggestive effect.
