All the sounds are my voice being effected/looped by the pedals. The beginning part is a cough with another vocal sound layered which sounds similar to a violin. . . Recorded direct to sound card.

This is raw material for monster sound. It can be tuned down with pitch shifter and layered with other sounds for example. Slowing down also gives a nice effect.

" to make it, you use a sample of a plane flying over, i used a 707, and a djm-500's pitch shifter fx. As the sample gets longer, turn the pitch to the high end, then to the low end. This sample was created by layering short, improvised passages on a yamaha psr-275 into a boss dd-20 in sound on sound mode. Loop was played into a boss me-30 on harmonizer and pitch shifter settings, processed in real time, then faded out. Audio was further processed in goldwave (compression, added hiss, vibrato, etc. ) to give it a more believeable "old vhs tape" sound. I cut it to only include the most convincing segment of audio. This was created with reaktor 6, nested inside vcvrack (via the "host" module) run through various effects in vcv rack. Ultimately this was rendered out at 192khz (vcv allows for very high super sampling). Many frequencies that are above the range of hearing exist in this file due to rendering it at such a high sample rate. I recommend that, in your daw of choice: pitch this down a couple octaves while running this through a frequency analyzer. Watch how many notes and tones emerge into the range of hearing.
