Ocean waves recorded from between two rocks. Recorded on a zoom h4 with the mics covered in zeppelin fur at 44100 hz 24-bit. There's some slight wind noise that can be filtered from 150hz downward. This is part of a series of recordings for an ambient music project i'm working on. There are some excellent ocean recordings on freesound if you're looking for a more traditional ocean sound, but my intent with these clips was to try to capture some natural phase-shifting by placing the h4 in cracks and crevices for a more hollow, "closed-in" sound.

Another free instrumental by anonymous producer mesostic. At a slow tempo, and with dissonant synthy chords, this is the perfect track for a hardline rapper to spit out some lines to. Or maybe it would make a great quirky soundtrack to your next homespun film project. The song was written in Ableton Live using Ableton core instruments and the U-He Diva soft synth on the lead line. This is a "happy birthday to you" rendition to celebrate the 15th freesound birthday (april 5th 2020). Here's a recording of a small campfire in the forest at night made in saint-urbain (charlevoix) pq, canada in a night of august 2014. You can hear wind in the leaves and crickets in the background. It was made with a sound devices usbpre2 into a tascam dr-680 (spdif) and 2 microphones studio project c1 in ortf stereo pattern. A little correction was made in equalization of the sample and the volume was augmented w limiter. It's in 24 bits 96khz , 40hz low cut.

Your stereotypical wind chime sound effect. Used a lot for transitions into dream sequences and flashbacks in movies and films. I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. Tools used:- usb logitech microphone (no lies, seriously used this $10 mic)- fl studio 12 by image line- vitamin by waves- dynamic eq by izotop. Wrote/recorded a short song about popping zits at 140 bpm in ableton live 9:kontakt player used for the formaggio string sections. My vocals were recorded with a akg 214c mic into a scarlett 18i20. Nothing fancy just get it down. Lyrics "get me now from the skin below, won't you help me out? i am stuck inside"then reverb added to vocals. This was recorded as part of a tracking shot for a project i did a few years ago. It starts off from the exterior of a fancy london pub around the primrose hill area, walking in to a fairly packed establishment. It tracks movement into different parts of the pub. There's fairly prominent music for the first half but it eases off to barely audible later on in the audio. A few minutes in, you'll hear the bartender announce the price (6. 95) a couple of times. Recorded on zoom h6 with x/y capsule.

These are series of various flash bulb pop sounds designed by me for the war-themed short film project. I've decided to create those myself from scratch, because i could not find any proper recordings of those rare vintage flash bulb which were closed lamps that contained a magnesium filament along with oxygen gas that would be ignited and create a significant pop followed by short crackle. Potable hoover (vacuum as known in the states) powered-on. Portable vacuum cleaner turned on. Short sample which can be looped. Two samples are included, the first is about 30cm away from the microphone and the second is a close-up to the microphone. I would advice using the end of the audio file to apply noise removal however have left this upload of the sound unedited so you can tweak this yourself to find what fits your project best. Noise removal may not be necessary at all depending on how you incorporate the sound. Also to be fair, how do you add noise removal to what is essentially glorified white noise?.

This is my own kaiju i made last year, i first start with the concepts. And now getting to the part on the sound on what will it sound like, so i watch any behind the scenes on how any kaijus like godzilla sound where made. So i use wooden chairs i found around my house slowly drag it that makes these noises, after every sound recorded, i go with a empty tuna fish can and after washing it, it makes a interesting sound, so i recorded that as well and mix both of those sounds together which makes this. And yes i'm working on a project that base on this kaiju.

Zoom h4n 2018 - onboard microphones. This is an unprocessed recording of the pilot light being repeatedly lit and then extinguished on a natural gas fire globe. This would be perfect for the sound of any gas device being lit such as a grill, boiler, pool heater, water heater, stove, oven, etc. . . I have give you many variations to choose from and provided some audio of the flame once lit that can be easily looped.
