Hey!. I've made this for a friend's project. But the project is now stalled, so i decided to release my work to the world. The sound is created with multiple layers of zynaddsubfx digital synthesizer. Sequenced and rendered using lmms. This was my first serious attempt at creating high-quality game sounds. I've spend quite some time refining and adding detail to the sounds, so they are rich and convincing. I hope this is a production at top level, that could be used in a commercial motion picture. Have i reached my goal?. If you want to use them, you'll need to edit it by yourself :). There are several different firing sounds, laser beams, discharge, sounds of plasma projectiles hitting a wall etc. . . Have fun and don't forget to give me a credit and link to this page!.

I've been recording some sounds for a an upcoming project which led me to recording the underside of the lid of a salad spinner and dangling a small plastic tab on it as it spun. It wasn't my intention but it sounds a bit like an old film projector. You can get some interesting results with this clip by messing a bit with the eq which is what i'll be doing for the finished project. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. This is the second part of an audio filtering project (in general, signal processing). This sample shows a noisy recording of my voice, after transforming the signal using the xft (extended fourier transform), applying a filter to cut some frequencies and later applying the inverse xft. All this done with an algorithm in matlab or mathematica written by me. Check the recording before the filtering process by hearing the file "holaoriginal. Wav" and please comment.

This is a snippet of a lesson i had with my incredible undergrad professor where we talk about a piece i was writing for bowed piano ensemble. He was incredibly influential on my creative process and as students we would regularly use his voice in electronic pieces by stealth recording his lectures. It only felt right to use one of these snippets for this project since it brings back so many great memories.

Wrote/recorded a guitar, simple bass, simple drums at 120-bpm. Guitar recorded direct into a scarlett 18i20 then used guitar rig 5 plugin from native instruments. Ezbass for bass.
