General cityscape ambiance in the boston public gardens.

This long recording was taken aboard the odoriko super view train from ito city bound for atami. You can hear the conductor's announcements, station arrivals and departures, passenger conversations (in japanese) and, of course, the train itself. The recording is unprocessed and made with a stereo mic pair at a 90 degree incidental angle.

For this sound i make a sawtooth tone with a wah wah effect and then i add a phaser to make this spawning sound. To make this sound more sci-fi, i chose to add some reverb to create more space around the sound and a fade out at the end.

Using beepbox. Co, i managed to synthesize the sound of a bus, which sounded a lot like either a 2005 new flyer d40lf bus or a 2008 new flyer d60lf bus, both commonly used by mississauga transit/miway.
