There is a man in besiktas ferry port. He sits and plays trumpet between üsküdar port and kadıköy port. I saw him there couple times. So he belongs that place in a sense. I added flanger at two point just for my taste :) recorded by zoom h6 with internal xy mic on last quarter of 2019.

Took a drum loop and pitched out 3 different layers of itself, one at half speed an octave down, one at quarter speed 2 octaves down, and one on top that starts out chopped up into separated transients and returns to full speed at the end. I originally made this to be 3 different levels of progression for a backing drum-loop, with the first section being the buildup, the second as the transition/windup, and the third as the breakdown.

This track was developed in east harlem new york city during the 2nd quarter of 2018. It was developed via apple's logic pro x via a macbook pro 2017. The mixing process employed the usage of stictly logic pro x plugins (e. G. Compressors, equalizers). Monitoring the audio was performed via the presonus eris e4. 5 monitors in a bedroom home studio. Accordion player on a sidewalk of the japanese quarter liberdade, sao paulo, brazil. He plays and sings a popular tune of the interior region of north-eastern brazil, the so-called sertão, using a sound system with a strong echo effect. In the background one can hear the traffic sound of a big city, pedestrians walking by and talking.

The recording starts with gentle rain and slow thunder rolling across the sky. The thunder is predominantly in the first half of the recording. The rain increases in intensity in the second half, peaking about three-quarters of the way through. Recorded on a sheltered, outdoor stairway, in a suburban location in south-eastern england, in august 2013; using a zoom h2n recorder set on mid-side stereo, at a 120 degree spread. The original recording was heavily edited, to remove traffic, trains, planes and parakeets(!). Some light, occasional, background traffic noise remains, however.

I composed a fairly long midi loop of chord progressions & let each section repeat twice. Then i layered a bunch of return tracks of the same line with arpegiated outputs played with straight, quarter note swing eight note swing, 16th note swing, & 32nd note swing all played together. The output was then compressed, heavily chorused through multiple fx devices, and stereo panned into the nonsense you hear. The chimes of big ben first appeared on bbc radio at the very end of 1923 to announce the new year. In december 1948 this recording (catalogue number 825677) marked the 25th anniversary of big ben’s broadcasting career. Because the recording was made inside the tower there’s plenty of intriguing mechanical detail in addition to the tolling of the quarter bells and the 13-ton great bell. Big ben is the unofficial name for the great bell. A summer evening in a vineyard by the german town of freyburg on unstrut. The recording abounds with natural background noises (wind in trees, birds, insects). In the foreground, a little bird is singing, giving it all it has. I am no bird expert, but if somebody knows what species it is, i'd love to know. At 3:22 into the recording, the tower bells of the keep of neuenburg castle, located on the hill opposite, toll 9 o'clock. They do this by tolling a high bell 4 times, once for each quarter of the full hour, followed by a lower bell tolling the hour 9 times. The recorder is located on the top of the vineyard, facing across the valley between vineyard and castle. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording.
