Recorded opposite the start at goodwood circuit on a wet and windy day in march. Cars pulling out one at a time on wet tarmac. Mixpre3 and rode svmx.

A mix of whispering voices recorded as part of the flow project commissioned by lancaster arts. The source text was devised by participants in workshops. The project was based on revealing the history of the buried mill race water course in the city, here as a river of voices. Project supported by historic england.

I was wearing a flat cap so the sheep thought i was the farmer and raced down the hill towards me, expecting to be fed. They were disappointed. It was early may and the air was still and clear. You can make out the echoes from the steep hill behind them.

A passing motorcycle on the freeway. Fade-in/out added to reduce wind and traffic noise. Slight low-mid attenuation to compensate for filtering caused by the freeway sound-barrier. Hot-rod v-8 engine start and drive away with ambiance of summernats 25 car festival in background. Recorded with tascam dr-05 6jan2012 streetside where continuous streams of all sorts of hot-rods, custom cars, rat-rods, race cars, odd cars, party wagons etc cruise the ring road on the festival grounds.

As titled, i cannot really describe this sound much more as it is abstract and can mean different things to different people. Anyway, 6 variations using the same core layer, 24 bit 48000 khz. Feel free to use it in your projects ! credit is always appreciated of course.

Horse racing: a girl wearing a tap-dancing shoe ran on a wooden board, tapping her instep and heel at different moments to look like a galloping horse. Horseshoe sound as it runs. Recorded with a shotgun shure vp89 microphone, behringer u-phoria umc404hd sound card, in adobe audition. The sound was produced in a foley class with the intention of making some sound from the tap shoes. The audio was recorded in the foley classroom of the multimedia course at ort brazil school.

There was some sort of running event going on, so you can hear the footsteps of lots of runners and the crowds cheering them on. Ice skating ambience: here you can hear the echo-induced atmosphere created by cold ice. The laughter and chatter of people reflect against the walls of this big hall. You can hear the slashing of ice and the swoosh of people racing against each other. An upbeat music can be heard further enforcing joy. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a great sound to create a joyful atmosphere.
