8 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Real Words"

The sound of a real computer keyboard. It is an actual text with real english words typing, it should provide a solid base for a sound fx.

Hall of funeral - burial ceremony - silent steps - honor guard - laying bouquets (real atmosphere, without words, without music).

This is the lead-up to "nothing to wear. " i'll not post any of the follow-up unless it is requested.

Typing (real words!) on a kinesis advantage keyboard with cherry mx brown mechanical switches. Recorded at my desk with rode procaster, triton fethead, focusrite scarlett 2i2 into audacity. Untreated room (hence dynamic mic) but noise remoived with audacity. I needed this for my own purposes so i thought i'd upload it. I hope someone finds it useful :).

Real audio of the bristol riots from summer of 2011. Please note that there are abusive words included. This was recorded as part of my coverage of the riots, which i later allowed the bbc to use on their news programme. Disclaimer: i was not involved in the rioting and was only present as a bystander in order to record the events.

I may have mentioned that his speaking voice wasn't always low. In this capture he's completely excited and happy and this is probably, his real voice. This went on for a while, but there was a lot of profanity and laughter and we don't wanna be disrespectful. Ha. I don't, anyway. I don't think he liked her much. A former boss, he said, who'd slept her way into her job and had no idea how to do it. He said if you looked up "nasty" in an unabridged dictionary, her picture would be in there. He was going to the funeral, he said, to make sure she was really dead.

Faux-synthesized "welcome" spoken by midnight furie demaurisha. (yes, it's her real name. ). Midnight says, "welcome". Processed to sound like a disembodied machine. First word spoken by midnight at the start of one of her guided visualzations. Recorded at shabby road studio in caerphilly, wales. Source audio is clean. This sample has been coloured with a multi-tap delay.

Various sound effects from children's toys edited together. All are on a low quality speaker, but are usually unique. All spoken word sounds as well as specific things like laughs or animal sounds are in different sounds. They range from real sounds like cowbells and car horns to blings and ascending synth sounding noises for a correct answer. (some tags describe one or two sounds in a long list, so listen to all of them if you're looking for something specific).
