As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully don't turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. Wow, this is a long one. . . But a good one. Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a swimming pool and hot tub. Now, for some reason in la, nobody ever seems to actually use pools or hot tubs anymore so it's not hard to get clean audio. So, from beginning to end you will basically hear me turn the automatic shutoff dial on the wall, walk to the hot tub, get in the hot tub, and sit in various positions for extended periods of time. I was alone for the entire experience (wife was at work) and nobody joined. It's very clean audio and safe for all production. Recorded on 11/20/2018 in burbank, ca. Enjoy,. Christopher c. Courter.

Non-functional tube radio warming up, making a loud 60hz hum with lots of harmonics. As a bonus it clicks off at the end. Zenith consoltone. Only because the faq says so: electro voice n/d 257a through impedance transformer into crappy gigabyte motherboard realtek high definition audio. 16bits, processed at 32bits. Audacity sound editor and/or driver wouldn't record mic level so it was very noisy after amplification. Filtered with a (mathematically equivalent) fft constructed whopping 64k length zero phase filter (blackman window) with 5 wavelength width bandpass at each harmonic from 60hz to 5,520hz. For some reason a fraction of some of the harmonics didn't get through so did another pass on the residual noise and mixed that in. Near the beginning there was a sort of brief duplicate signal that descended in pitch so it didn't make it through the filter. I added that bit in. Attenuated frequencies above 3. 6khz because they are pretty much noise, but removing them didn't sound right. Cleaned up the beginning a bit in various ways, cut it down to 15 sec and carefully appended the unfiltered "click" onto the end, which i denoised 12db with audacity's noise reduction.

So these are all real reactions to certain things i do, i. E, video games, narrations, etc. This is from the spider incident, hence why it is far away. I myself need genuinely real vocal reactions. I often look for voice clips here on freesound, and there's just some stuff that isn't here. I know i'm not the only one, either, so i post mine as well so others may use them. Interestingly, i've gotten one person who took the time to uh. . . Tell me how they. . . Disapproved of my voice clips, so i just wanted to say that if you wanna use them, do, if not, don't, that's why they are there. I enjoy animating, and others do too, wanting to use others' voice clips. I also had a couple people make techno remixes of a lot of my sounds (thank you by the way, they're awesome). It's not that i care about the. . . Interesting way the one person expressed their opinion, it's just to let some similar acting people know that i post these for a reason. *shrug* but whatever floats your zeppelin, i honestly don't care. Anyway, for those who do use them, thank you. :p.

This is a sound walk near my house. I will not add a geotag because of privacy reasons. This is a sound walk, but it is not narrated. This is for an assignment for my music appreciation course in loyola high school. Here, you can hear my footsteps, a car passing by me, making the doppler effect, and some sounds of the wind.

I had a need for some burps in a project, and decided to burp loudly into the mic whenever the urge arose while i was narrating. Beer aided the process quite a bit. These were collected over the course of several stories. I've studiously avoided sniffing my pop-filter, for obvious reasons. Mic is a rode procaster. Not that i think it is necessarily the microphone of choice for belching. Feel free to use the sound for whatever purpose you like.

I used to work security at an apartment in a major college town so i had quite a few opportunities to catch some action. I'm not going to reveal the name of the city or town i was in for obvious privacy reasons. This was one of my best catches. Her sexy moans makes her sound like a porn star and if i'm not mistaken, i think she was getting anal. It sounded like she said "fuck me in the ass" at least twice, maybe three times throughout the recording.

The boom is the genuine sound of a beretta 92fs being filmed on a cell phone with the slow motion feature. However i decided to add the "click-clack" of my switch blade knife as added effect. 88 piano keys, long natural reverb: up to 13 seconds per note. This is me giving back. I love freesound. You guys saved my bacon back in the day. Recently i searched for free piano notes for a game i'm making, but the only ones i could find ended too quickly. I need long reverb! luckily i have an old piano, so i made my own. So this is me giving back. This is an old piano!!!. We had the piano tuned a year ago, but it is well over 60 years old, so be warned! these notes have character! if you want perfect tone, either edit them individually, generate something artificially, or buy a professional set. But if you want a piano with personality, this is for you. Being an old piano, it only has 85 keys. So i created the highest 3 notes by speeding up previous notes, to make the modern standard 88 keys. How the notes were created. The notes are created on an old (well over 50 years) steinhoff upright piano. It only has 85 keys, so i faked the highest 3 keys by taking previous keys and changing their pitch. I opened the top, balanced my trusty everesta bm-800 condenser microphone across the top near the high note end, and held down the "loud" pedal. Each note was then hit and kept pressed down until i could no longer hear any reverb. Notes were saved as mp3 using my laptop, using free sound recorder on the highest quality settings. Yeah, i know it isn't flac, but i am strictly amateur with budget to match, and that was the best i could do. After that, all editing was of course uncomopressed until the final save. How the notes were edited. Editing was kept to a minimum, mainly to enhance the reverberation. All editing took place on audacity on linux mint. First i cropped any silence from the start. Next, used the envelope function to gradually increae volume to 200% over a couple of seconds. That is, the quietest part of the reverb is twice as loud as you might expect. Because for my game i sometimes need a single piano key to last ten seconds. Next i maximised the volume. If there was just a single stray waveform that stuck out then i reduced that by 2db or so then maximised again. Because like i said, i want to hear that reverb! i then found the part where background noise starts to be noticeable, and faded out over 1 second or so. This meant that the lowest notes had as much as 13 seconds of reverb, whereas the highest notes might only have 2 or so. Finally i checked the result, and edited three or four notes that i felt were just too ugly (badly tuned, or for some reason the software suddenly got hissy when the note became too quiet. Weird. ) i also slightly changed the pitch of a couple of notes that were slightly out of tune but otherwise ok. No doubt a better ear than mine could teak all of the notes. But as i said, it's an old piano and we're keeping it real. Finally, files were compressed to ogg at the highest quality setting, using soundkonverter. Why not flac?. I live in the countryside with very slow broadband, so i apologise for including more of the original files. But as it was, uploading this zip file took about an hour. Enjoy. Legal. Uploading it here provides proof that i created it first, just in case anybody comes back and says "those are mine" (it happens).

Better set on monoaural on your daw if possible due to the off-center recording. Having been a bit ill on some rich iron content food i couldn't stomach (offal it was, it was the sheep fried liver who was the culprit - the very rich iron content upset my stomach pretty bad - was looking for something "new". ). Keep in mind that i am unable to do this as a request for obvious reasons including health, livelihood and risk of damage to equipment. I tried very hard to avoid shaking the zoom as not to make the wobbling sounds. If i am ill again, i'll use my ma-2 (microphone stick) and gravity microphone stand and get a real good recording of real vomiting but keep in mind this was recorded in my showerroom so some er may occur.

So there is plenty of room to explore extensively. Marvel at the submerged trees, enjoy the chirping field crickets and quench your thirst at one of the many cafes or restaurants on the edge of this nature reserve. Walking, cycling or on horseback: it's all possible here. With the wind in your hair and the sand in your shoes. You may even come across the sheep herd.
