Loops created in ableton live9 some with push with various instruments and effects, this pack is work in progress, i would like to add loops and sounds over time, please check back here and then.
I was attempting to inflate a dingy using a foot pump without the necessary o ring. The air just came out again with an interesting sound. Recorded on a huawei g300.
I needed a loop to put in the background of my youtube videos - so i made this! i used the garage band app on my ipad - enjoy! if you feel like crediting me - awesome. . . If not. . . Let it be so!.
A set of rhythms created using kitchen implements. They are all unprocessed, and some are more regular than other. I made these as the raw material for a video soundtrack and thought other people might find them useful too.
Rhythmic noise from some kind of loud machine, recorded outdoors, as evidenced by birdsong in the background. I honestly have no idea what was making the noise, though, and my notes are missing. Mysterious!.
Noise created using a digital delay (alesis midiverb ii) in a feedback loop. Eq adjustments are continuously made during the recording. Caution: the file contains some loud high frequencies (of about 15 khz).
Rhythmic hammering on a metallic tool box with a scabbling pick (hammer). Four different styles - first mixed with some scratching sounds, then hammering in three rates of speed. Recorded on zoom h2.
A short layer of rhythmic clanging created as a scary atmosphere in a chase scene. Used a roland groovebox with the self-sampling utility directly to wav. I've found this method results in good sounding recordings, but reduced high frequencies. Sorry, don't know the bpm.
This is a clacking sound caused by the snapping of a large plastic clothespin. Recorded with a sound devices mixpre3ll and a matched set of audio technica at943 microphones.
A small collection of synthetic sounds of varying frequencies. Created with amsynth and several ladspa, lv2 filters. Hope you enjoy the sounds. I've tried to reduce the file sizes due to the low bandwidth of the server. I hope the quality doesn't diminish too much. Didn't seem too!anyhoo. . . Enjoy!.
A drain after a water flow: the water seems to build up a physical-mechanic surface tension kept mass in the tube, opens and closes this bubble-entity producing a specific rhythm in the plughole resp. The drainage pipe. It pulses with various plops and splashs, starts off with a firework kind of beat but then one hears a differentiated rhythm of 4-strokes sequences with slugs before these etc. Getting slower. Many minutes later it ends (beyond this track). The (hearable) cut is just the censorship of a small abortive piece -- left in to document the recording as recording.
