A gigantic flock of crows (corvus corone), at least 100 birds, circling right over our house at lubeck, germany. Hasty recording, therefore some rumbling at some points, but a nice clear recording nonetheless as they circled very near. Recorded on zoom h2.

Using beepbox. Co, i accidentally made a sound similar to my fm radio being unable to pick up a station. I keep my radio in my basement, so sometimes it can't pick up some frequencies right away, producing this noise.

I recorded my dishwasher with my phone and used made it into a shaker-ish loop by speeding it up and using an expander. Its kinda weird but with the right processing it can give a really nice texture and rhythm to your tracks. Tempo is 125 bpm. Have fun.

This jump scare sound was created by playing 2 dissonant chords on a single coil telecaster mic'd up w/ a vox ac 10 amp. The two guitar tracks are panned left and right- reverb and delay are added. The delay tail you can hear oscillates between left and right speaker as it fades. Additionally, frequency enhancers were added between 4khz - 6khz which adds a higher tonal energy in the upper range of the guitar. Gain is added which can be heard as signal noise mostly at the end of the clip. Enjoy. Bainmack.

A laser noise created for my science fiction sitcom. The base was just a note from a vst synth (i can't remember which) and then a variety of pitch shifts, time stretches and layers of reverb until it sounded right.

I couldn't find the right sound for my video so i decided to break out the frying pan to get the sound i wanted and decided to share! i used this to emulate the sound of someone hitting a chicken in a video game recording.

I sampled the bell tree at our church. After seeing how much the instrument costs at the music store, i opted to not buy one. The long version of this moves from left to right, and has the single sample repeat twice. So it begins on the left, has a delayed start in the center, then finally a third repeat starts on the right. Add liberal amounts of reverb, to taste. A field recording of people shopping in a mall. About 20 seconds in, a man coughs. . . Then. . . Voices of adults chatting and young people too. A few minutes later a girl walks right by and says "found it". . . Then chuckles and says "it was by the seat. ".

While i was trying to record other sounds my yorkshire terrier came in and got right in front of the microphone. I enticed her to bark. Funny thing is that she often will sneeze when i give her the bark command. This file is a bit of both.

This recording is made not of the falls but of the water right before the falls, so you can hear the roar of the falls in the background, but the recording is dominated by the sound of the river approaching them. I made the recording on the brazilian side of the falls, if that makes any difference to you.

Created this by saying something like, "testing the mic" in ableton, right clicking and converting that audio. Midi > into melody. . Then adding some stock sound and some reverbs and what not. . Try it yourself.

Turns out if the time is right for it, the microphone sensitive enough and you amplify with audacity, some pretty graphic sounds are present. Don't ask if it's real. It is. Sexual penetration and lots of movement, and i wasn't even in charge. :d almost inaudible during the act.

Listen with secure stereo headphones. The first wave sounds mono; it should appear as though the sound is coming from the center of your head. In the second wave, the right channel has been inverted--otherwise identical. That should sound as though there are two distinct sounds coming from either ear.
