This is a variation on a guttural growl i made to depict some giant bears in power armour. I recorded myself with a zoom h1 and then fiddled with pitch shifts etc to get to this big cat noise (well, that was what i was aiming for).

A roar for a kaiju style creature. Lions, tigers, bears and a hint of whale song. Most of the sounds (a couple of bass instruments, several animal roars) come from garageband, along with some recordings of a human made on a zoom h1. Was playing around and decided to make some kind of beastly roar(maybe). Have fun with it.

A failed attempt at making a "roar" sound that makes for an interesting sound anyway.

I did this by tuning my voice as low as i could get it and recording it. Then i slowed the voice down to 0. 400, instead of using the paulstretch. I, again, did this with audacity and used my laptop to record it. Pretty good, i think.
