I ripped duct tape in front of a digital hand recorder. This sound was recorded september 4th 2014 in a room at hume lake christian camps in hume, ca and has only been trimmed in audacity. No other editing was done.
Mono, close-mic recording of a roll of gaff tape slowly being peeled back. Microphone settings: akg 414, hypercardioid pattern, no high-pass filter to maximize proximity effect.
Scotch tape noises. Please, consider listening my music on bandcamp:. Https://mrthenoronha. Bandcamp. Com/album/mstech-educational-projects-soundtrack.
This is me ripping a piece of paper, which resulted in a sharp, crisp sound of tearing. I think it could also very effectively be used to simulate the sound of a roll of packing tape being applied to a package.
A brief ripping sound of tearing cloth. It could also be used for sticky tape being yanked off the roll. (my apologies for the bird calls in the background, field-recordings are difficult in a rural area. ).
It's a recording of a modern portable cash register printing a daily report. Then the paper tape is ripped of. There are funny frequency effects caused by the paper tape getting longer and resonating different frequencies. The sound have not beet piped through any processing. Recorded with a hand-held zoom h2's rear mics. Originally 96khz/24-bit wav. Edited and converted to flac using audacity.
Velcro being pulled. This is one of 4 velcro pulls in the same sound pack. Cc0, so no need to give credit. If you want, let me know what you used the sounds for as i really like hearing about other people's projects :).
