I opened the door and stood in the doorway to record the wind. You hear leaves rustling on the floor and every now and then the wind accidentally gets into the mic as i don't have a wind screen. You hear a little howling as well as some squeeking noise through it.

The sound caught my attention and i thought others might find it useful. The sound comes from a small cardboard box with a glossy exterior being removed from a slightly bigger cardboard box causing the little pop at the end.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

A backpack closing, the fabric rustling. Could be used as an inventory sound in a game, or just as a cloth sound. This is one of my first sound recordings and is how i got into recording. Paper sounds & metal container sounds - thicker art paper scrolled and unscrolled, also placed inside of and withdrawn from a metal water bottle to simulate some sort of special scroll, including fiddling with the metal lid. Occasional soft breath soz but mostly clean. Recorded on a r0de nt-1, through a ai-1 in my booth. Raw unedited audio.

Rummaging through boxes with plastic bags, shoes and assorted styrofoam objects inside. I used 3 largish boxes and rummaged through them, making rustling, scraping and plastic noises, as well as through them around a bit to make it sound like someone searching through boxes. The sound of a hand moving over a fabric and then ending up on trousers. I made it for a scene where a man moves his hands from a table cloth and puts them on his legs. Might also be used for scenes with bags, pillows, on a bed etc. Feel free to use without giving credit.

My grandma recently gifted me a music box that was given to her by her mother, but it unfortunately doesn't work right anymore.
