Coffee is served from a coffee pot into a cup, then the cup is placed on a saucer. Recorded with a zoom h4n portable recorder. Edited a bit in audacity to raise the level of the coffee pouring sound and lower the level of the saucer impact sound.

These sounds came from a session where i needed to record very gentle clinking sounds with a tea set. The setup is an mxl3000 mic through a neve portico preamp. They are very soft by design.

This sound is a sinusoid. I have modified my sound with several phases and a crescendo.

The porcelain teapot lid is lifted, water is poured in and the lid replaced. A cupful is poured, the liquid is stirred and the spoon returned to the saucer. A drink is taken and an appreciative 'ahhh' is heard.

A long recording of almost 19 minutes of ufo type sounds. This is the first sound i've made in several years, a different attempt with different software and hardware. I was putting away the dishes and heard a strange sound. . . . Upon investighation i found i had stacked a saucer on top of a plate and there was a wobble happening. Captured with an edirol r09-hr.

Hey guys & dolls !. I've recorded this kind of strange sound with a kitchen saucer on my zink top. It's sounds like something that can be used for example a light aircraft'spropeller blades that is struggling to start or to swing as such,. . Or with a little bit of imagination, it can be used for a couple of other sounds as well. Depends on what it is you looking for or a project that requires this type of sound !. .
