A sample i made years ago. Pitched way down to create a seamless loop of ambience with two automated notch filters and an automated bandpass filter on flstudio's pmeq2. This is a series of sounds created for spitfire audio's make music day 2020 #spitfiremmd2020 it is a plastic drum, a springy pot rack and a big metal chip bin. I got inspired by the alien films and alien isolation, so i decided to design some alien xenomorph sounds. They are printed with and without the fx i designed to suit the environment of the alien isolation game (metal corridors and vent shafts). I've been looking for a similar effect for quite a few years and no one has built one. So, using a simple synth and bass drop worked wonders for what i needed. The sound effect is from the matrix and is the sound heard near the beginning when the police are attempting to arrest trinity, just before the agents get upstairs. When trinity jumps, this is that effect. My original concoction.

Lyrebird is a ground dwelling bird that lives in the australian bush and is very clever at mimicking sounds. This particular bird happens to sound like a science fiction movie! i removed much of the background noise, and lightly processed it with a phase effect. At the end i pitched certain sounds down for a more alien, dinosaur sound. The original sound was recorded on a smart phone.

Blip trails: c2 note, random blip sounds with fast attacks and short trails using massive. Sampled into ableton with just a touch of reverb to help the trail smooth out, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random parameters in massive, and very little other effects used. File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. This was originally a friend's cat meowing but it has been processed heavily. First, it was put through a granulizer and the pitch was dropped -2 octaves. The sample was then panned l-r using automation, and bitcrushed. Lastly, to get a slight detuned feel, i added a chorus effect. This sample sounds even better with some convolution or hall reverb but i left this effect out since it's usually a effect users want total control over. The end result is a strange, alien sounding noise.

Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I used ableton’s operator and analog synthesizers and xfer’s serum plugin to create this sounds. All processing was used using ableton’s stock effects and serum’s stock effects. Noise of a solar power dc-ac inverter on a sunny day. A static hum with some kind of a rhythmic modulation. Sometimes other noises like a bird singing outside, however mostly the pure sound of the inverter. Recorded x/y stereo with at4041 mics into a pmd661 recorder. Eqed in fabfilter, there used to be a sine beep at 15. 8khz, inaudible for many people but it would have been even more annoying for those who can still hear it.

A krell patch and short sample and hold tones. Okay even the krell gets pitch cv from a sample and hold. The short sample and hold tones are panned with help of chaos. I use two nlc sloth lfos to control the panning. The speed of the short sample and hold tones are controlled by two mixed lfos from bmc 2lfosh. Reverb from spring reverb and delay from an anlog delay stomp box. Please suggest some tags i should have used. . . !.

Computer at work, analyzing robot's violation of the first law. Not getting satisfactory answers, computer decides to release robot into the wild with its a. I. Disabled. Robot becomes homeless and is reduced to begging on street corners for new diodes and capacitors. Robot has minimal processing power left and votes for trump in 2028. Robot is not registered to vote in texas and is arrested, charged, convicted and sent to prison for voter fraud. Anti-robot prisoners beat robot to death in the exercise yard. No one is held accountable.
