This is a mono recording of a psaltery. This was recorded as-found with no tuning or cleaning done to the instrument. It is a series of single tones followed by two note chords. Dissonant and full of texture. It was recorded using an audio-technica at875r microphone at 48khz/24bit.

It's not the sound of an actual cash register but the combination of 5 different single sounds: 2 sounds of a printer, once being open and once being closed. A box full of rubbish being shaked, a ratchet and a small bell. Equipment used: akg c214 / focusrite saffire pro24.

This is a single guitar string plucked with a pick directly at the headstock, that means between the tuners and the nut. There the string is very short and tight, resulting in a high, almost piano-like tone. Also, since there is no sound box, the tone is rather quiet. I used this for a sampler and i liked the sound of it. This is the raw recording. If you want to use it in a sampler too, i recommend adding some eq, reverb and maybe some delay. It is not perfectly in tune though, the closest note is a#. You might tweak the tuning a little bit when using it in combination with other tuned instruments. An antique underwood no. 11 typewriter, ca. 1925. Sound was recorded on a zoom h4 in a sound booth. However, it didn't have a bell or a platen, so the key is hitting the platen of another typewriter from the 1970s. Audio cleaned up in audacity. Please use freely! i found a lack of high-quality single-key sounds.

Sound of a single droplet. The standard sound for like a leaky faucet or a drop hitting a puddle or bucket of water. I actually made this sound with my mouth and tapping my cheek at the same time, but it is a very convincing drop sound, which can easily be looped at the speed you want for that "continuous drop" sound in the background.

Sounds of a ceramic coffee cup being hit with a steel spoon, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;).
