Using a finger and a small blackroll tube, i recorded a few plopps with a rode nt-usb mini and the rode podcast recording software. Noise gate and compression were turned on at the time of recordings. For me, it sounds a little bit like a cork popping from a bottle, but it has a richer sound, somewhat overdoing it. . . Recorded from a balcony with 3dio professional binaural microphone in to an olympus ls-14 recorder. The microphone picked up a small cessna airplane that you can hear in the middle of the recording. The microphone did also pick up the whistle of a person. Both at the start (aprox 20 min in) and at the finish of the recording. I´m am very pleased with this recording.

Made from a tom drum i created with xfer serum in reaper. Rendered the instrument as audio, then, sampled a small section of the tom and looped it infinitely to create a static frequency. Then i added the reapitch vst and created a smooth automation curve down to -24 semitones. Lastly, i added a short fade in and long fade out.

I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto.
