655 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Snow"

Some cars drive on a wet snowy road. I make this recording with a zoom h2.

Wind during a snow storm at dove lake carpark, cradle mountain, tasmania, wind speed 30-50 kph. Recorded 29 may 2019, 4:43 pm, just on dark, on a marantz pmd661, using a rode nt4 inside a rode blimp, pointing away from the wind from the back of a station wagon. Near the end, a car pulls up about 50m away.

Swiss forest, sunny winter morning, on a small mountain. The cracks and other falls are due to the snow that melt in the sun and fell from the top of the trees. It was beautiful. Recorded in stereo with h5n, and processed a little bit to reduce the wind.

Heavy as a Red Snow by Soft and Furious

Recorded in ny at 7:30 am with a sound devices mix pre-3 and an audio-technica bp4025 microphone (with a rode blimp windshield). Winter morning with snow falling, wind, and occasional birds.

Driving about 25mph with snow tires on a dry road. Interior sound of a car. No credit necessary, but as always, it is greatly appreciated.

Freezing rain recorded falling underneath a tree at night. Some unfortunate rumble from a nearby airport, could be eq'd out (or left in for something spooky!).

Walking in crunchy, icy snow along the side of a tarmack road. Recorded in stereo 24 bit 96 khz with the internal mics on a sony m10 with windjammer. Walking the winter street, cars passing by.

Since snow has been so widespread, thought it would be a good time to stockpile the beautiful crunchy, crisp sound of walking on it. This was recorded the evening of february 15, 2021 using my marantz pmd661 audio recorder and the bulletproof, dynamic beyerdynamic me58 microphone. The temperature was 2 degrees farenheit.

Recorded on 26/02/2010 at approx. 8am in wengen (jungfrau region), switzerland. Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode, without a windshield. File has not been modified, only cut short from a longer recording.

This recording was made 15 nov 2008 at 21:55 when i was walking my dog. At a distance i heard running (melted) water so i took my h2 and went to the place where the sound originated from. Recorded at gps coordinates n59 16. 303 e18 04. 460.

It's snowing in october. . . In kansas. I guess winter came really early. (the leaves haven't even fallen off the trees, not to mention they are still green) so, i decided to record the sound of "snain". Enjoy! please credit me if you use it! :).
