Recoding from my sony camcorder while holidaying in italy. The 7am and 7pm bells from the campanile (bell tower) in the medieval hilltop village of sorana, tuscany. Note at beginning the muffled sound of bells from nearby village and the odd ever present birds. I left these sounds in as they give a sense of place to the bells.

Very seletive recording of a birdsong early in the morning on the begining of april. The city ambience was heavily processed, so when the car appears it sounds quirky. It is left there on purpose, as i guess everyone is going to cut only the part that one needs. Recorded by piotrek zylaequipment: sony pcmd100. I got the idea to speed it up from listening to some radio commercials where the person talks a mile a minute to cram as many words into the commercial as possible. Poking around in my grandmother's barn - building is approx 140 years old and filled with old tools, furniture and other random things. Recording consists of a lot of rusty metal scrapes and thumps, footsteps on old wood, doors etc. Recorded on a hand-held sony pcm-d50. I've edited out the worst of the wind and other artifacts of my sloppy recording technique, but there may be some still in there.
