Take 1. A skewer wiped against a metal spatula to try and create a sword effect. Sony ecm-ds70p mic to a sony minidisc mz-n710 acting as a preamp into my edirol ua-25 audio interface.
3 gal. Bucket with a sony voice recorder placed on the inside. Edited with sony sound forge, eq to get rid of the crappy voice recorder sounds and added time compress 85% of original, bend pitch and reverse on end. Also added stereo pan.
Recording of crows that i've denoised and looped. There's a weird woosh in it, it was a plane or something flying by that i couldn't fully remove. Recorded using a sony ic recorder, processed in fl studio to remove noise.
Recording of swimming. Since the sony ic recorder only records in mono, i layered 3 separate splashes sounds(1 left, 1 right, 1 center) to achieve a fake stereo sound. Processed in fl studio's edision.
A funky grooved beat i made from individual copyright free percussive sounds sequenced together in sony acid. I applied a groove by manually moving some of the samples off the quantized beats.
