I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out.

Pretty much i recorded this outside of my house in michigan. I recorded 4 seconds and copy and paste, so it is about 8 seconds. The first section is played normally then i copied it and made it play reversed. This sound is loopable and free to use.

Mapex birch kit, akg d112's on the beater, and at the edge of the outside hole, both slightly off axis, with front skin off, and blanket over the kick !! also used the overhead sound when i bounced this down, so it has some sustain !! enjoy !!!.

This was recorded on my tascam, feel free to use it was you wish, hope it helps, i have no use for it atm, so here you guys have it for free :). If i have tagged it wrong, ignore it use it as you please. -shaun.

Field recording on the platform of the brussels central railway station. The platform is an undergroundtunnel, so you have an indoor recording. The platform is not crowdy. Arriving and passing trains, opening and closing doors, automated announcement in different languages.

So yeah i decided to do an impression of @reitanna 's character annatier. And i did one of her lines from her reitanna fictions called annatier's descent and all of this was edited and recorded on audacity and annatier rightfully belongs to reitanna.

A female voice reading a poem (twice) that was requested to be read in the forum. The request was to have it in a "fairy tale voice," so i read as if i were reading to a child.

That sound represent a cat who is playing with my camera, lucking that. So, we have some bass amplification,gear who goes fast and tempo who goes fast as well. Because of that we can get a noise of "shot" of my camera.

I recorded this in the morning during the summer. I heard the horn a few moments earlier about 7:30 am so i ran outside with my camera and recorded a really long one. This is the canadian pacific enjoy!. Tools used:audacitysony cybershot camera.

I made this weird creepy atmo using stock fl plugin called beepmap. Its from my sample pack called musicom's samplebox vol. 1 but i deleted my soundcloud so it got taken down.

Using beepbox. Co, i accidentally made a sound similar to my fm radio being unable to pick up a station. I keep my radio in my basement, so sometimes it can't pick up some frequencies right away, producing this noise.

Messing around in logic with some surround impulse responses and delay designs. Ended up with something that sounded a bit like a submarine sonar blip. . So i added the sound of a fridge, time stretched using the flex tool and pitch adjusted and now it sounds almost real :).

I recorded rain with a train and eventually a car going past from my window with a shure super 55 (the only mic i have) so this recording is in mono until i get a stereo pair.

An approximation of a 3-toned engine powered/blower stationary air raid siren so powerful that it has to be set on a hill at least 2 miles from a population center. Based on a chrysler engine powered siren.

Just relax. I give it finer resolution, 24bit, so that you can see the touch of breaking waves. Wave sounds are often accompanied by calls of seagulls, but this is with cicada. It is a typical image of summer in japan. At825 & mr-1.

Snippets from recordings of me playing the tanpura. The strings are tuned to b, d, g and e, so would work well in the keys of g or e minor. I noticed that my first pack of tanpura samples has a bit of fuzzy white noise so in this pack i have equalized - i reduced all the very high frequencies which got rid of most of the white noise without affecting the low frequency sounds of the tanpura itself. Please note this is the tanpura part of an instrument called the swar sangam which combines the swarmandal (indian harp) and the tanpura, it is not a traditional tanpura and does sound slightly different.

Dubstep bass: 110 bpm wobble at 1/16th note, half of the samples as a sine lfo and saw lfo descending. Sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2. Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.

It was raining one night so i used a sony px720 digital voice recorder to catch some hopefully cool atmospheric type sounds. I placed the recorder next to my apartment window and stepped away for a few minutes. My window is situated right next to a rain-gutter so you hear the rain hitting the pavement along with the rain flowing down the gutter. You also hear four different cars drive by during the recording. Well that's about it hopefully these sounds are of some use to people.

I have been hearing an animal or two beneath my bathtub for some time now. Today i discovered who it was. Leaving my apartment building this afternoon, i saw a cat sized racoon carrying her baby under the walkway. I went back inside and set up a microphone aimed at the floor by my bathtub. Methodology: shure sm58 into focusrite and recorded via ableton. Noise removed in audacity. I have a horrendous ground loop situation. In the future i may try to mic from below the apartment so that it isn't so muffled by the floor. Some noise comes from how much i had to amplify the signal to make it heard.

Just a mixture of multiple samples i created over time. Layering a swish noise which was basically a white noise sample with an eq envelope, lowpassed snare, and a not-so-highpassed clap, compressed and saturated. Enjoy!.

I created this sound by taking two large cobblestone blocks and hit one against the other. Good for sound design. There is a little rattle on some of the heavier hits, it couldn't be helped since the block is so heavy.

This recording was taken with a rode nt4 mic and with a didge of mine in the key of b from northern queensland (kuranda). I have a tiled square enclosed shower so the reverberation is crazy, have a listen to my other recording with the same didge and mic (titled didge. Wav) but in an open room for comparison.

Shook and opened a 24 bottle of ginger ale and recorded outside with low street noise, i shook up the bottle so it would explode and fizz all over.

A folie i recorded for a short students movie i edited in 2011. I recorded these water drips with the zoom n4's built -in microphones and it worked great for me, so i decided to upload it. Enjoy.

Weird eerie sound i made by using multiple reverb and some distortion on an ascending ethereal vox, thought it sounded pretty cool so i decided to upload it. If you find some use for it i would love to hear how it comes out! ^. ^.

Just a small sound of me crushing a can, then distorting it and adding so scale-shift. I really like it, sounds like one of those sounds for a ui, like menu hovering(!).
