Pull chain light switch on and off - a view variations. Recorded in the basement of an nyc apartment building on may 29, 2021 with the on board x-y mic of a zoom h4n pro. While recording sounds for a film project, i decided to capture this for my archives. Use it in good health.

I recorded myself running my fingers across a metal radiator, and myself saying i see dead people. I then edited it on audacity.

To me the final effect sounded like a haunted space ship. I began with a 10 second sample of ordinary speech then lowered the pitch, stretched the wave pattern, added echo and reverb. Then i copied portions of the wave pattern to a new track and mixed the two into a mono track. Did this several times while also using noise reduction and normalization.

Heard this out my window at 11:30 at night, 05/14/20, central new jersey. Probably a fox. From some brief research into fox calls (there are over 40 known calls) with this video https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=j6nuhlibhsm it sounds like either an alarm bark or vixen scream.

Me speaking into a tascam dr-40 using a made up language i thought sounded like a demon chant, if you make anything with it please share a link so i can hear it. :).

Made this moody dance-friendly tune in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's sort of happy, a bit up-tempo and dance-friendly but has this eerie anxious undertone. That's why i named it "dancing in dispair". Did a bassline along with a beat to start it off. Then i added some minor chords and synths with a lot of room to create a spookiness in it. From the depths of the industrial zone on zarkon. This loop is a combination of various 'found sounds' one is a focke wulf 190 bmw engine sound dropped in pitch, a squeak from a universal joint on a suspension system and a loop of an industrial guillotine. Chopped looped tracked assembled and reverbed in roxio sound editor.

This is another one of those sounds i frustratingly could not find here so i decided to perform and record myself. I created this sound using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) using various ladspa effects and layered a few zynaddsubfx synths, with some automation to tame the fall off's by automating the volume faders. Enjoy :).

Old sound i uploaded years ago and never described until now. Software made, using addictive drums with a lot of reverb effects, subatomic vst, gort's minipiano soundfont. Plugins used: camelphat3, camelspace, black_box, bouncing ball delay, ambience, and a bunch of stock fl studio reverbs, eq's and delays.

I was showing my 1 year old my recording studio. He was laughing and talking so i recorded him to play it back. His reaction was as wonderful as i could have hoped. This was recorded in my home studio, on a cad e100s microphone. Recorded in audacity, i copied the clip, lowered the pitch, stretched, added reverb, and reversed the audio. I also normalized to -3db.

Diboz throws a piano at his annoyingly ticking watch, which is ruining his sense of timing. Created in flstudio 11 with lightly tweaked flkeys, flreverb2, jangly (almost tubular bells) wasp xt layers and a pitch bent formant for a bit of spookiness. The ticking noise and deep notes were generated by fiddling with morphine's presets. Caution: look at the waveform. Don't turn up the wick. This piece starts quietly but there's a sudden, loud, jump scare.

I made this by playing a piccolino recorder and then adding reverb to it. There was a loop ready-made in garage-band that i used as a model but then changed it because i didn't want it to loop. I added flourishes so that it ends. This is the intro for an audio book i am recording but since i created the sound, i can share it. I would be happy if anyone else wanted to use it. No need to give credit etc.
