This is an on-board recording of my 2007 chevy malibu driving in a parking garage. I placed my mic out the window while driving around the garage. You'll hear occasional tire squeals, as well as suspension squeaks and ambient sounds. Attribution isn't necessary, but i'd love to hear anything you use it in!. Went in and played with some sound clips i had to make them ready to upload here. Ended up adding a "chorus" filter to some high pitched noises i made for a stop-motion, and the result was this! enjoy :).

Just speeded up the whining to make it more urgent. Squealing drone that makes an i once used as intro if you just add some fade at the end. This is part of a pack that features noises made by a small malfunctioning house fan that's passed its primed. I have released my sounds into the public domain.

Interesting (but painful) sounds made with a zoom h2 (front mics, low gain) connected to a laptop via usb. The signal was piped to old creative sbs250 spekers with 16ms of latency (i'm using jack audio connection kit and linux). That's how my feedback loop came into existance. I turned up the volume and started to move the mics around, geting a lot of different sounds ranginf from simple tones to strange lfoish sounds. The sound touches 0db one times, but is rather undistorted (at least digitally). Recorded with audacity @ 48khz/16-bit and saved as flac.
