194 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Stab"

To create this sound i stabbed an apple with a pair of scissors in my bedroom to replicate the sound of someone being stabbed. To record i used my sontronics stc-10 microphone and my audiobox interface running pro tools from my mac at 48khz, 16 bit.

Various drum and perc samples ran through a chaotic chain of effects resulting in other-worldly impact sounds.

Another poster at this site posted this series of sounds as a string. I edited using audacity to get each sound isolated from the other.

Single-pitch heavy distortion with multi-layer. Mild modulation. Made for a emotionally intense moment in a horror film. Toward the middle you will hear a very quiet rhythmic element. Used a roland groovebox self-sample utility directly to wav, which results in good recordings, though reduced high frequencies.

My very first upload. A small sample taken from nyb 11. Mp3, and fettled up slighty. Not the greatest, but for what i intend to use it for, it will do nicely :). Sounds like the jaws theme song bass sound. These sounds are actually an xm with a changed file extension to. Wav, and then loaded into a wav editor which converted it to a readable format. I then removed the unbelievable noise to see what i ended up with. After that, i cut out the parts that sort of sounded cool and these are some of the ones i am willing to let everyone have.

This is an acid bass type lead created with jeskola buzz instrument ksynth, with added ohmboys delay lfo at 126 bpm.

Those are a few hits and impact sounds made with or on carton. Free to use, in games, sound-design jobs and others. Might get in handy when working with a carton-based world (i made them for that purpose).
