Metal safe deposit box lock and unlock various. This sounds offmic to me, at least the parts recorded from outside the box, probably because i confused recording from front or back on my h2- and yet i don't hear my own breathing. Anyway it's still good for anything but a cu.

Coal coast nsw bush recording attempt with the kids. They struggle to keep still and i, the recordist, slowly lose my patience / belief that a recording is possible. Good demonstration, however of the 360 sound panorama of the hooke verse, binaural mics used. Stereo 24bit 48khz format.

I tried to import a raw, pcm audio sample into audacity and it came out like this. It was alot worse when it was imported, right now this is about as audibly palatable as i could get it to. This is still loud, so turn your speakers down a little bit before playing.

A bottle of beer being opened, poured into a glass an sizzling a little. The recorded noise has been filtered quite a lot, but there might still be too much left if you bring the sound to high levels. However it should work in quiet surroundings. The idiot in the other lane decides to give it a go, even though he/she quite clearly saw our truck coming out of the hospital parking lot. Hey, who says a 68 year old can't drive! this grandpa still has the mentality, flexibility, and reflexes of your average fit teenager these days.

Une colonie de grenouilles à une heure du matin, sur une mare à côté du mans. On entend quelques bruits de circulation dans le fond, mais les grenouilles étaient très proches. Frogs recorded near le mans, france. Though we can still hear things in the background, the frogs were very close to the microphone. 48khz 24bits.

Odd sounding drum loop. Rendered with public domain software. No additional effects used. This sound is licensed under "creative commons 0" to get you out of trouble, but i still would appreciate if you mention my name in the credits and give me a feedback, where the sound has been used! thank you very much in advance! ;-).

This is a random synthesized click-sound followed by a reverb with 200 ms pre-delay. I used cubase roomworks and roomworks se for the reverb, synth 1 for the click and various plugins to master the samples a little. Still they sound pretty unprocessed so you can edit them to fit your needs.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. Used my "stay still!" clip in my mod, and it kept shouting it at me until i got far enough away from it.

Sometimes you really need to get away to peace & quiet. This recording, made with my handy zoom h4-n and its built-in stereo microphones, was made in perhaps the quietest time of the morning -- that magical time between 3am and 4:30am when the birds even are still asleep. Made in a backyard of a town of about 7-thousand people.

That couple that lives next door. They are still doing what they do, but it seems like they no longer make the noise loud anymore. I can barely hear them. Either they decided to keep it down or that woman is no longer a screamer in bed. Note that most of the audio was amplified, edited, and cut short.

Spring. Wav and spring2. Wav were recorded on the same evening in may during a long rain. The two recordings are similar but still very different. I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Beautiful sounds.

A piece of pump organ improvisation with very little harmonic movement, but much space for the "breathe" of the instrument and the superposition (german schwebung) between the tones, the tones that swing between the tones in different time and tones. Excuse my english, i hope one can still understand. P. S. Start and ending must probably cut off :-).

A peaceful ambiance of some pine trees in early, early spring. The predominant, lower-pitched background is the strong south wind blowing through the tops of healthy pine trees. . . An unwavering "swooshing" that cuddles and curls around the flexible, thick-resin-filled pine needles. Also, from time to time, you hear the sound of the wind rattling some dead and brown oak leaves; oak leaves which are still stubbornly hanging on to their parent tree. I purposely did only a very bare minimum of post-processing on this sound so as to keep it as realistic as possible. Yes, there are quite a few wind rumbles that i toned down just a little bit. I did not totally get rid of the wind rumbles. I did this on purpose so you the true feeling of " being there " on that mild, but still raw cold day of spring could still be felt. At 4:35 into the soundscape the trilling of a pine warbler is heard---a warble of warm-sounding notes fighting back stubborn winter. At 9:33 that hardy year-round resident, black-capped chickadee starts tweeting about. Recording made on saturday march 25, 2023 using a sound devices mixpre-3 series ii and only one microphone. I used a sennheiser mkh 8070. Enjoy this soundscape of winter slowly losing its grip, as told by pine trees and brown, crackly oak leaves.

A semi-rare and priceless recording (at least to me) of a whippoorwill; a bird who, unfortunately, is declining in many areas of the country. This recording contains more hiss than many of my existing nature recordings, but i still want to post it so you can get sample of this wonderful signature sound of summer woods at dusk. Recording made in the shawnee national forest in late may of 2010 using my zoom h4n recorder. I used an audio technica at8035. I was trying out this microphone. This particular microphone does have a narrow acceptance angle, which is probably 1 reason for the hissiness. Still, go out in the summer woods around dusk sometime and maybe you will get lucky and hear this beautiful little bird whose distinctive calls have livened up the woods for generations of many youngsters – including me!.

Fake news has overwhelmed the media, to an extent that “breaking news” amid the 2016 us election has prevailed all around the world. Such news proliferated on social media that hilary clinton sold weapons to isis followed by another “bombshell” - still to this day, the public debates whether or not this was true. Today, we will debunk this controversy by looking at the influence of rhetoric.

Breathing through a 1. 5 metre didgeridoo to obtain a dramatic sound. Pitch and re verb were used for more effect. Bit rate 288kbps. Ngwave pc software. Sennheiser shotgun microphone. I'm new to this and something happened with the upload. Track is running a fair bit slower than i thought it would but feel it's still unusual enough for an underscore. Any comments are welcome.

I have no idea what this was. I don't know if it's my voice or an external sound i didn't hear while recording. It was found randomly on my most recent recording of playing containment breach, and it was very quiet, so i increased the volume to try and figure out what it was, but it's still a mystery to me. Sooooooooooooo. . . . Here ya go!.

Recorded on 21/02/2010 at approx. 9am standing next to the grossmünster church in zürich, switzerland. Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode, with a windshield (but unfortunately there is still a bit of wind noise towards the end when the police siren starts). File has not been modified, only cut short from a longer recording.

It's that couple again. On this day of them, it seems like they were trying to keep the noises down, but the female can still be heard. The man is same as usual. You can hear them having a conversation after they were done. The clip is cut short and edit. Some parts are silenced. Some background noises couldn't be removed all the way.

This sound was recorded in a forested area called lot 2, a low lying floodplain in the town of coffs harbour. It might be bulldozed to make land room for houses. In case it does go, this sound was captured so a part of it might still exist. Recorded on a zoom h4n pro, edited and looped in audacity. Recorded on 30/04/19.

Blood gushing fall to concrete floor; created by pouring a water/corn syrup mixture onto my foley artist's arm over a concrete drain. Towards the end you can hear my foley artist start laughing because the mixture was splashing everywhere lol. . . Still a great clip and we used it in a horror slasher film to simulate blood gush from a stabbing.

This is the sound of cold winter wind finding its way through the gaps in our living room window. The recording has been edited to remove long stretches of silence, and has had some light noise reduction applied. The noise floor is still quite high though, so maybe best to put this one fairly low in the mix. Recorded using a zoom h2 with its rear mics activated.

Whilst sitting outside a starbucks in hollywood, ca, i took notice of a man talking/arguing to a half-empty bottle of coca-cola. What ensued was about 26 minutes of stream-of-consciousness homeless speak. Some of the more coherent passages were about gambling debts in reno, nv. I'm still wrestling with the morality of recording these kinds of things.

Removed the hum from cognito-perceptu's pill-bottle-4 sample. Original sample had truck in background in addition to some low frequency hum. Used the remove hum feature on izotope rx2 and, presto-chango, no distracting background noise. Now there is still a high frequency hum which i did not touch. I think this could be mitigated with a low pass filter in eq if you choose.

Recording of myself walking through olvera street over in los angeles, unfortunately arrived when everything was about to close down so it's not as busy, but something to note, i wasn't still, i walked through the street so music and people talking are passing by quicker in the recording and the occasional footstep from myself can be heard. Mid morning bird song from the 50+ house sparrows that use our side garden to eat from the feeders, perch on the hedges and generally don't go too far away before coming back for another meal. The recent garden birdwatch survey has been published which shows sparrow numbers have increased but are still down from where they were when i was a lad. I'm 72 so that's a long time ago!.

A water faucet set to drip in a chaotic manner, without much regularity. I put a plastic container lid under that for sound to be more pronounced, but that added crunchiness and now it doesn’t resemble dripping as much. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised in audacity plus filtered bass out a bit. P. S. I need to say that i foolishly recorded it into an im app and the recording ended up as. Ogg, so it’s not as good as could be. Still i hope there is enough spectral richness left. I should have used a dedicated recording app which writes. Flac files, i just hadn’t thought. Maybe several days later i’ll make a couple of other takes! (update: now i did. ). ———————. I’m still here! i like you guys, i’m just lazy to make sounds and i don’t want to record as much as the quality is not as good when using just phones, moreover that already many many people record various things professionally anyway and share here.

A musical santa plush with old, half-used batteries that i recorded 16 years ago. Sorry for the loud sound, the bitrate and the sound quality. I thought the file would still be usable. I used some compression and a bit of eq to make it sound like something you'll hear on a gaming console machine. However, the audio spikes from the high freq took me a while to cut off. Can't figure out why it does that but in my opinion it still sounds good :).

This is a clip which contains the background audio which i need enhanced. I can't quite make out all the words, but i do know that the words "rapin him" are said, and the name "carter", and "positive thing". When i recorded this clip, i put the conversation on a loop, trying to make it easier to edit it while i listened, but i still can't make it all out. Good luck.

Poking around in my grandmother's barn - building is approx 140 years old and filled with old tools, furniture and other random things. Recording consists of a lot of rusty metal scrapes and thumps, footsteps on old wood, doors etc. Recorded on a hand-held sony pcm-d50. I've edited out the worst of the wind and other artifacts of my sloppy recording technique, but there may be some still in there.
