This is a chalice that i ran into in the river side hilton in new orleans. I recorded it into my iphone and cleaned it up in pro tools with izotope 5.

I drew my hand on a metal gridrecorded: iphone rode with videomic microphone.

Recorded using a chip contact mic and zoom h4n pro recorder. The mic was placed in the middle point of the plate, which is approx. 2. 5meter long.

Just a little pizzicato rhythm struck from rené into mimeophon. Recycled and phased using haible tau and morphagene. Enjoy!.

Glass bottle hit with a wooden guiro striker, close to the rim/neck. Sharp sound, a little harsh, but could be edited to fit without hurting eardrums too badly. Ibc cream soda bottle, cleaned, label removed, recorded on samson q2u.

Wavefolded byinstruo athru plaits percussion. Bias modulated by øchd, folding by maths. Markers set in reaper (mono). Came across this by chance as i was just noodling with athru for the first time. Made some sounds for a film i worked on. Thought i should share since i use so many of the sounds from this website. =).

This sound was recorded with an ipod touch (5th gen). I was in need of some sword sound effects for a project i'm working on, and after i made these, i figured i'd give them away for free here on freesound!. The sound you hear is actually just a couple of large kitchen spatulas clashing together.
