Swelling ambient sound. Could be used for ambient sounds in an industrial setting. Source sounds:washing machine pitch shifted by 6 semi tones then slightly stretchedeq applied accenting low endreverbcompression with a ghost snare side chained to it to create the swell. Enjoy.

Zildjian k's, a few different things i did with mallets.

Gong swells made by me in a kurzweil k2661 keyboard.

A cymbal swell or roll with long-ish attack. Medium-sized zildjian cymbal (exact type unknown). Stereo recording with akg 451 mics 44k/24bit.

A reversed maj7 chord with "shell voicing" (no third). Recorded with an sm57 in front of a fender blues junior.

Random noise with increasing volume, nothing special.

A kitchen sink sample tweaked to sound like a swell. Recorded on minidisc at 44. 1k pcm with a sony ecm condenser.

Ocean swell and tension added by sequence from o-ctrl through mimeophon. Thanks to makenoise for the sample (waterfall sampled at various stages). Wogglebug randomised splice shifting created the ocean swell ;).

How swell.

Rising swell that sounds like processed strings: but is not. It also has a delayed tail that goes off into the distance.

I created a basic saw tooth bass pluck using sylenth1, and used image line edison to time stretch, equalize, add reverb, and smooth out the beginning and end of the sound to give it a swelling effect. The sound is tuned to c for easy re pitching to suit different projects.
