Made with a butt ton of reverberation decay, modifications to high dampening and the layering of many swishing knifes together to create a suspenseful sound effect. The application of this sound could be used for the penultimate release of something utter horrifying to be revealed on screen, chase scenes or simply an underscore/tension builder for the now victims of a monstrosity coming at them for a bit of a nibble.

I played around with a few sounds and created this by accident, i think it would be great for creating some sort of suspenseful kinda of dark'ish scene in a film.

A more grim, horror-focused version of spooky snap 1 - pitch automation is applied. The base is the same - a strong, resonating clink of glass by using a flat metallic surface to generate the sound.

Pauled a metal sound and created a long dark texture.

Theme scary siren :. Production step :i record a scream. I cut it and extract two different sounds from it. I change the pitch to get the sound more high-pitched. I also change the tempo to be more slow. I separate the track in two and invert the last part. With the enveloppe tool, i change some part of my track manually. I amplify the track. I also use the reverb effect and amplify the size of the room of 60%. I used the noise reduction. At the end i fade out. I used the noise reduction. Description :this sound look like a siren or an alarm. Because the sound is high-pitched, it award an horrific aspect to the track. For me this siren can take place in an old and creepy factory. In some aspect, there is some metallic noise in this sound. The no-regularity of the siren also participate to this strangeness feeling. Typologie de schaeffer :. Very old track, not very fond of it personally but possibly useful still. Guitars recorded with line 6 pod x3, with a lot of reverb. Many recordings overlaid on top of each other. Simple drumloop added beneath it all.
