An edited/mixed recording of an actor reading twas the night before christmas as santa claus. Used in a christmas-themed event during the holidays in a us theme park. As the story, itself, is public domain i do ask that the vo is credited from dynamic algorhythm when applicable.

I think this sounds a bit like a jazz age theme reflecting a journey by steam ship. It was bolted together from little loopable sections (also uploaded separately here) which were all created using edirol orchestral samples and the magic of arpeggiating programs. A sort of renaissancey version of the first two lines of ding dong merrily on high, composed on cubase with samples from the edirol orchestral plug in (a bit of harp, french horn, alto flute and violin with kettle drum and sleigh bell percussion). Sounds like the jaws theme song bass sound. These sounds are actually an xm with a changed file extension to. Wav, and then loaded into a wav editor which converted it to a readable format. I then removed the unbelievable noise to see what i ended up with. After that, i cut out the parts that sort of sounded cool and these are some of the ones i am willing to let everyone have.

This is only a recording of me playing a djembe, recorded with a pair of nt1-a mics, but after messing around with some of logic's amp and resonator effects i ended up with this. The 6/8 groove reminded me of the doctor-who theme, and the interval displacement of a minor 6th i thought sounded pretty cool. De/en/theme-worlds/gondwanaland/)its a dome where a tropical rainforest is emulated. Really great climate there - warm and moist. There are some wooden structures to climb up in the trees. A reproduction of the opening electric guitar riff from marius constant's twilight zone theme (used in season 2 and later). I obtained some info about this arrangement from reading bill wrobel's film score rundown website, which has a detailed description of both the bernard herrmann and marius constant twilight zone themes. I played this into logic pro using the "classic clean" guitar sound. One guitar is playing bb bb bb bb and the other guitar is playing g# a g# e (repeated).
