This storm came thru this morning and i recorded it on my zoom h6 using the built in mics. There are some good rumbles of thunder in this recording.

A thunderstorm in munich, recorded 2020-07-01 in my backyard on second floor on a balcony. It rains, the strikes come closer, then they go away, the rain recedes. Some backyard noise, faint traffic and tram. One time you here me sighing (sorry). Some minimal clipping at thunder peaks, sorry again, but i think it's very usable anyway and contains a lot of material. I recorded a pretty gnarly storm on 8/25 around 1:30 am. The cars are off the road but you still get that city reflection. I placed two rode nt5s in my living room windows and set them to record for about nine minutes. It wouldn't be great for an outdoor situation but it's a good "thunderstorm from an apartment in the city" recording. It's in 16 44. 1, stereo. Use it for whatever you want, no credit needed. -jp.

Vancouver was experiencing a thunderstorm as i got home, and i immediately went to set up a microphone next to my bedroom window to record it. Tried to make it louder and better in audacity. Recorded july 25, 2009.

Streetsounds is recorded with h1n stock mics. This is a wet, rainy, 2 lane highway at the crest of a hill. You can hear the cars come up from the left and go down to the right. Very cool.

This is about 14 minutes of a short rain/thunderstorm. The file fades in on light rain but then you hear a swell of heavier rain with light thunder. It all comes back down again by the end with some birds thrown in!.

This is the end of a heavy thunderstorm, at the beginning of the recording it is hearable the last thunder(unfortunatly). During the recording is possible to hear also some cars. The recording was made using a roland r05 mounted on a tripod facing to a hedge.
