Thunderstorm aftermath. Sounds of a thunderstorm about 10 minutes after it left the area. So low rumbles and rain dripping. The sound was recorded using a yamaha audiogram6 connected to a radioshack brand vocal microphone. Sampling was done at 44,100hz and the data was recorded using audacity. I recorded everything as a wav file and then uploaded it the same.

The name says it all. A quick catch of some thunder happening.

This is a sound i created by using three different things. I recorded my bathroom fan and altered the pitch, added a few cents and overlayed them at 50%, and added a band-pass filter. I also recorded batteries rolling across the bottom of a drawer, lowered the pitch a bit, and added a high pass filter. And then lastly i added some wind that i created by blowing into my hands. That i did not adjust at all. It sounds just like a thunderstorm.

The wind and rain is whipping the plastic coverings of a construction site at one house, some things fall down from the scaffold. The rain becomes more and more heavy and loud, the raindrops beat down on the leaves of a chestnut tree and the plastic sheets. A recording of a thunderstorm using my zoom h4n from my front porch. The clip starts toward the tail end of the storm, and the thunder and rain slows down throughout. Starting in the middle and towards the end of the clip, there's even some birds and forest frogs in the background. A few cars drove past, and they can be heard as well.

Recorded with the window open using a zoom h4-n thunder rolls around 1:00 and 2:00.

Decided to try recording a rainstorm passing by in florida and ended up pretty good. Feel free to use this in anything you want. Comment a link to what you used it in but you don't have to :).

The recording was made from a small kitchen measuring 3mx2. 5m during a heavy downpour outside the window with thunderclaps. Gradually the rain gets quieter. Recorded with rode tng-2 microphone and zoom h6 recorder.
