I recorded this on the london underground for an animated project that i'm working on. We boarded the train at bethnal green and travelled several stops until liverpool street. There are a few station announcements along the way. The train itself was moderately busy, but there was not much in the way of background chatter.

I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video. I was lucky enough to get a good run on this with just a few poeple on board, so there wasn't any other sound apart from the train, the only time you here some movement of feet is when the doors open. Please note, anybody is free to use this sound, you don't have to credit me, but it would be fun to hear how you use my sound if possible. :) here is the link to the type of licence i use. The sample has been normalized. This sample was recorded from the defective medium wave section of the radio. It contains mostly dark hum and rumbling.
