It's me, coughing hard and wet. Disguisting, but usefull sample of 4 cough attacks. Recorded with zoom h2 via usb into ardour daw. Originally 48 khz / 16 bit wav, converted to flac using ardour. The recording is unprocessed and unedited.

First test recording smashing bottles, mic levels were too high and it peaked. It sounded neat with the distortion so i thought i'd share. It's unedited, so you can hear people moving and laughing before and after the smash.

General rubbing sounds i made by messing around with a facemask, unedited all in one big file with enough space to adequately edit them. Could be used for bandages, general rubbing. Just get creative with it. Feel free to use anywhere. I dont mind, just thought i'd be useful.

I've spotted two skaters on a pavement and i decided to spend my last few free megabytes on the sounds they were making. The skaters were rolling on a hard pavement made of small square panels. In the range of three octaves, sung by me in 13 tracks. Not completely in tune. The first one is unedited sound. The second is transposed an octave lower. The third is transposed two octaves lower. In the fourth all the latter are sounded together (39 voices). The transposing makes a peculiar effect to the voice specially in the second (12 semitone) transposition.

It's winter on vancouver island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the cowichan river. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level. Recorded in january with a zoom h1 n, audio quality 48,000 hz. Unedited.

Rain hitting the vines, thunders, village sounds, crickets, occasional cars passing on the road, far thunders with no rain, dogs barking, roosters, all in one unedited take. This was recorded with the mobile phone (allview e2 living) with the "voice recorder" app at maximum quality settings so do expect a lower quality. You are free to use this sound as you wish.

Waiting for and getting on the 20:46 from kings cross st pancras to finsbury park on the evening of 30th october 2020. Recorded on an iphone 8 using voice record app - unedited. Very quiet platform and very quiet trainincludes platform announcement, train arrival, door beeps and open, train announcement, train departure, 5 minutes of train journey (no voices), arrival at finsbury park, doors open. Potable hoover (vacuum as known in the states) powered-on. Portable vacuum cleaner turned on. Short sample which can be looped. Two samples are included, the first is about 30cm away from the microphone and the second is a close-up to the microphone. I would advice using the end of the audio file to apply noise removal however have left this upload of the sound unedited so you can tweak this yourself to find what fits your project best. Noise removal may not be necessary at all depending on how you incorporate the sound. Also to be fair, how do you add noise removal to what is essentially glorified white noise?.

Large river rapids running strongly after winter rain. Recorded approximately fifty feet above water level. The river flows and turns through a narrow, high, partly exposed bedrock canyon which likely amplifies the sound of the rapids. The first nine seconds are unedited. The last two seconds have a fade out applied. In summer you can walk where the centre channel is in winter, so this is a lot of water moving swiftly down the cowichan river to the salish sea. I wanted to record the sound of a keyring - or rather the keys strapped to it - make while in mid-air. There are the keys audible, recorded hitting the stack of hay (soft landing) and air blowign into the mics while the recordied has high velocity. I was throwing my recorer with my left hand, while simultaneously throwing my keyring with my right hand. The throw was vertical and the landing zone was a pile of hay. I thing there are some interesting sound here, i'm uploading it unedited to make it possible to cut out whatever you like. Recorded with a flying zoom h2 at 48khz/24-bit, edited, nomalized and converted to flac using audacity.
