My vcr rewinding a vhs tape. Sounds pretty gnarly at the end. Recorded with a jm27 into my zoom h4n. As a side note, this sound was a real pain to record. Every time i set up the mic, it seemed like the ac would come on, the dog would bark, or some other sound would ruin the recording. Whatever, i got it done.
Recording of my panasonic dmr-ez37vk vcr, using both the ms capsule on the zoom h6, as well as a mono feed of a shure beta-58. Minimal compression in post. Going through all of the options, play, stop, ff, rewing, etc.
A vhs hum noise a made in audacity a month ago, which is used for a game i'm working on. You can change volume to your liking, or just do what ever you want to it. Good for vhs effects!.
This sound is a combination of organic, non-instrumental sounds manipulated with different effects. It represents a stumbling journey, thinking you have your footing, but then bringing you back to where you began, but now ending up in a new place. An unsure place.
This is the sound of a minidv camcorder i bought off ebay, eating a tape of historic one-of-a-kind footage. I'll now have to get the tape repaired and attempt to rescue the footage some other way. Such is life. The raw footage it destroyed belonged to my mid-2000's feature film, the long island project. Cross your fingers i can rescue it!.
Series of sounds in one file, starting from opening a cassette and placing it in the player, playing a bit of a song (it's my song so there's no copyright to worry about), fast forwarding, and playing again. The file ends with removing the cassette from the player and placing it back in the case.
An emulation of the classic "rewind and stop" sound performed by djs to add tension before the drop. Made after tens of trials using fl studio's fruity scratcher on a sample i don't remember. Le: i'm happy this sample from 10 years ago helped so many people, cheers to all!. If you liked this sound you might also like my oriental song, check it out!https://soundcloud. Rewind radio show on cassette-tape. Record with a technics m04 stereo cassette deck, rewind a cassette tape tdk a-60. Sound device realtek on-board (motherboard m5a 78l-m).
I rapidly pressed the fast forward and reverse buttons on a little cassette recorder while it was playing an old radio show from the 90s. One of the first fx recordings i ever did. Recorded with a samson c03u microphone, no processing.
These are some freesound works i've glued together. I added a wobbly lfo to it. If you like this sound make sure you check my tunes on sc: http://soundcloud. Com/beverlyhillsboy.
