Recorded directly into pro tools using an audio technica at4040 condenser microphone and focusrite preamp. I have used this sound for axe-wielded death-blows on the undead!.

A walk through ridley road market in dalston, east london. Lots of people chatting and music playing. As with many markets in london there are lots of languages being spoken. You can hear traders calling out what they're selling. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. This was made with a freesound by erdie (rubbing metal) and my own layers of fruit and veg being mushed and crunched.

One of around eight effects created for a production of "a tale of two cities"recording of purpose built model guillotine chopping a mixture of veg. 4 mics were used 1 from top, a couple at the bottom and an attached pzm. Result was pitch shifted down.
